Luna Nights was so fun to play and pretty brutal in your first playthrough. It has such a unique spin on metroidvania combat that it takes some effort to get comfortable with.

Graze to heal is so cool it gives you the freedom of choosing which attacks you wanna heal from in a boss fight and which you wanna choose to punish, the issue with this healing system is map traversal becomes quite annoying since healing from common enemies is a lot harder and riskier than boss attacks/projectiles. Time stop being so fluidly integrated into the combat while also making it feel fair and not overpowered is so fun.

the boss fights are easily the best part of the game every really needed you to micro dodge some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ they throw at you to be able to heal and the last two bosses really get your blood pumping.

The game is short and brutal, although has some shortcomings, like the skill variation is lowkey ♥♥♥♥♥, once i get thousand knives I'm really not using anything else that skill is unbalanced as ♥♥♥♥.

Luna Nights' music is some of the best recomposition I've heard of touhou tracks, Voile, Lunar ♥♥♥♥, Septette, Flowering Nights are soo fantastic in this game, and U.N owen was her? being remade to have more organ and feel more castlevania-esque because it's in a metroidvania is sooo ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cool I love it.

Overall I loved it, super fun game and I love you Sakuya and Flan

easily a 8/10 for me time powers are sick

As much as I had been enjoying the game early on, later in the game it gets way too unforgiving with the lack of save points and no auto saves on boss completion or area movement, and even backtracking to early areas being only able to take a handful of hits before death and possibly reverting a lot of progress due to lack of save points has killed my want to finish the game.
