We're an upstart dev studio out of Baton Rouge and our first game is now on Early Access called Necroball! It's a fast-paced, pixel art, competitive sport where you kick a skull around while summoning minions to score points. I have joined your this game development and live games group via your post on Game Maker Studio forums of Steam for 5 hours. I hope there will be a lot of tutorials and live games...

Any, all, or none! Scripting languages for Gamemaker Studio or Construct2 are most common. Construct2 creating html5 based games, gamemaker being a derivitive of C and compiling for a number of platforms. And the people that dont program come here to learn, or possibly to watch and help create, or just play games xD
