Summary of changes:

Serums: remove from loot containers & web shop/vip kits - only obtained from the lottery plugin. adds trade rarity.
/shop plugin: remove. Trade is practically non existent as is.
Raidable bases: Approaching & dealing with lag.
remove nightmare bases altogether, add more hard/expert variations - This will help reduce server noticeable lag when spawning bases.
Raidable base loot: some minor changes.
Skilltree resources multipliers:
(skinning, mining, tree cutting, harvesting etc) multipliers: disabled.
Use a x3 loot multiplier instead, this will mean resources wont be manipulated by skilltree modifiers effectively stopping millions of resources from being acquired in minutes.
This negatively impacts the server economy. Other skill perks will mostly remain active, inc multi rockets.(this is a choice perk)
Alternatively: keep existing skills & reduce multipliers significantly.
Reduced TC upkeep to -50%.
Custom npc's: change hp's to match vanilla.
Stack sizes (in the millions): disable & use vanilla, why? no need for excessive stack sizes, & skin/skilltree stacking issues.
Craftable recyclers: remove. not needed as they are at most monuments now also they sometimes disappear when placed.
Addressing p2w.
Web shop: remove all fast track p2w kits & items.
VIP & Elite kit merge into 1 VIP pass (single server pass or duo) prices TBC nearer the time. Server costs keep rising as a nock on effect VIP will need to increase marginally PA.
VIP retains current features & test gen, sentry turret craft + /kits but [resources are removed].
VIP is primarily a supporter package (transparency) helps with servers costs & map + plugin purchases.
VIP /kit continuation: this move is to:
Put a stop to resource p2w.
See that more time is needed to progress on the server & not finished in a day/set for wipe.
ALL players start with nothing (resources) upon wipe, no paid shortcuts.

-Loot changes-

Having listened to players feedback & having been told by numerous people our server is to "EASY" as mats & resources are too plentiful,

we have decided it is in the servers best interest to make much needed & overdue changes to improve the server.

These are the up & comming changes as of force wipe (3/8/23)

*Note these are not set in stone & will be "subject to change"

Overall loot will be changing to:

vanilla container loot 2x

In a bid to slow down mats & resource acquisition we have decided to turn away from fully custom loot (per container) in favour of traditional loot profiles (vanilla)

Hopefully this will go a ways to accomodating players accostomed to vanilla servers looking for a more chill & relaxed pve server without having to learn an entirey new loot system.

This will apply to bradly & heli's & all custom events as well, laptops & cameras & other resources will no longer be limited to specific containers.

Most custom "resources" (sticks, glue, ductape, paper etc) to be scrapped except [research paper], [small batteries] & [blood] -

these will serve specific purposes which we'll go into detail nearer forced wipe. (3/8/23)

Outpost trade up vendors will be updated/ 1 removed & [Blood] vendors x 3 with halloween items to be removed as these will be available via /shop.

Craftables via the workbench requiring materials will only require vanilla items.

Custom added containers that will stay:



AC units - Gears, blades, wires, scrap, fuses

Antenae's - electrical items, scrap, tech trash

Blue filing cabinets x4 variants - food

Desks 2 variants - key cards, food, scrap, tools

Desk computers - tech trash, wires, metal frags, fuses,

Control terminals (the green ones in research labs) - tech trash, scrap, metal frags, wires

Coms towers (various locations) - electrical items, scrap, tech trash, tools, tech trash

Fuel tanks (silver ones @ artic base & rigs) - fuel

Gas canister pallets & piles (silver, corroded & blue) - fuel

Hay bales x3 types rectangular & rolled - food, seeds, fertiliser etc

Industrial turbines - gears, fuses, metal frags, hqm, scrap



locked sliver 500hp crates found in some monuments usually 2 either stacked or near each other - This box to be removed from loot table as its frequently used in custom maps.



Lockers (single/double) variants - clothes

Matresses - springs & cloth

Oil rig cranes yellow/red support beams - metal frags, scrap, gears, tech trash



Pallet boxes x4 variants - tools, paper, cosmetics (small chance supply signal may drop for large pallet) - also to be removed from loot table

Planters & plant pots (various types) - fertilizer, seeds, clones etc

Roadside/electrical cupboards (various) - fuses, etc

Small heaters (arctic base) - scrap, & other items

Spilt coal piles - coal. - small chance @ stone

All of the above will have thier quantities updated to 2x







- Epic loot - gear & weapon set bonuses applied - gear sets with bonuses will work much like most MMO's, - more info will be supplied nearer forced wipe (3/8/23)

special resource [Blood] will be a placeholder for Epic scrap which will be used to upgrade Epic loot items -

- Skilltree - some perks will be reduced in line with vanilla 2x (scavenging for instance)

- Monthly wipe -

Having reassed the wipe situation we feel monthly was the right decision,



1, Its less overall work for us meaning RL & other priorities take centre stage, a game should never compromise RL.

2, More player groups specifically seem to gravitate towards monthly wipe servers which works perfectly & brings in the right type of player (most of the time)

3, To reduce boredom we're looking to change how raidable bases spawn over the course of the wipe rather than have all raids available Immediately & players becomming bored a week or so into wipe.

If your not happy with this change.. "tuff XD go find another server we've had enough of the winging & whining!

- Raidable bases Spawning changes -

We are looking at changing how these spawn over *monthly wipes with weekly roll outs to slow down progression, something like:

week 1 no raidable bases, (plenty to be getting on with esp if its a custom map, if procedural lesser material acquisition meaning more time to get set up)

week 2 easy & medium raids roll out

week 3 hard & expert raids roll out

week 4 nightmare raids (event) work in progress

Raidable base loot to be gone over with a fine tooth comb - vanilla 2x quantities - vastly different to what we have currently

this is not final as we need to work out the details over the next couple weeks.

- Crafting changes -

Personal Quarries:

overall reduction in mined ores etc inline with 2x

Increased cost far to easy to acquire & or possible week 1 [LOCKOUT]



- /KITS - VIP & SHOP CHANGES - (VIP & ELITE) -

Given that the cost of plugins, maps & server rental costs have been increasing in price (like everything atm) & eating into personal funds we feel a change from lifetime vip is the correct approach.

All proceeds from vip sales go directly into buying new plugins & maps, lifetime vip at such a low price just isn't feasable in the long run especially when its the same regular people on the server.

This decision wasn't easy to make as we know some people may not like the change however the "benifits outweigh"

Current lifetime VIP/Elite owners will be given a 3 month grace period till october force wipe (first thursday) when the change will take effect.

Store page VIP purchases have been temporarilly stopped until force wipe when these changes go into effect.

VIP & elite kits to undergo some reduction again inline with 2x expectations. They will remain more or less the same for items. We will only be targeting resource quantities.

Cost: (WIP) we will update in due course, however it will be affordable (less than amazon prime)

Possibility in the future we'll add a 3 day vip "trial" for new players but right now this is a contributer to reduced VIP server supporter sales.

Resource item costs to be inflated or removed as presently they are too cheap & contribute to player boredom as RP is easy to acquire.

- NEW PVP server in the works -

- Work is underway creating a new pvp server loosly based on the movie water world & the game sea of theives -

No ETC yet as its in build phase as theres a lot to do - first & foremost is getting the main server sorted, once done work will reume.

Now that tug homes are a thing this concept actually has a chance to become a reality.

with tugme plugin for custom item placement tugboats are effectively floating bases therefore building on [Land] will be blocked for the main land mass & limited to islets / small islands -

waterbases plugin would be ideal here giving players a choice between a tug & static floating bases provide we can get the build proximities to land sorted

vehicle decay rates substantially reduced in lieu of no building on main island (only islets/islands)

in place of vehicles (kayaks, subs, & rhibs allowed - small boat coastal spawns - land based vehicles & heli purchase vendors disabled

loot to be vanilla

small singular land mass & a few small monuments like: supermarket, water well mini monument, dome, water treatment, harbour, ferry terminal, fishing villages, bandit & outpost - no caves -
