Very much are. We may have different perspectives on His attributes but He is the God of Abraham, Ishmael and Jacob. Most Christians may not be ready for this conversation. I suggest try talking with a christian whom speaks arabic and read from their Bible translations.

Instead of framing the discussion as Christianity versus Islam, it is more coherent to recognize how Christianity is encompassed within Islam. If one leaves behind ambiguities in Christianity, they become a true follower of Christ — and by submitting as a Muslim, they do so without abandoning Christ. This is precisely why it makes sense that Allah (S.W.T.) raised Christ to the heavens and will send him back to unite humanity. Therefore, we should unite upon what is undoubtful and clear. The Trinity is not the essence of Christianity, and not all Christians are Trinitarians.

Instead, Muslims recognize Friday (Jummah) as a special day of communal prayer and remembrance, though it is not a day of complete cessation from work

The man became silent and then said: Allah's Messenger, I have made no significant preparation with prayer and fasting and charity but I, however, love Allah and His Messenger. Thereupon (the Holy Prophet) said: You would be along with one whom you love.
