What do you want to play in NA Global Agenda?

We are currently doing AVA, but that seems to be going downhill because I have no sense of balance. I will work on trying to fix that.
So assuming all else is equal, what would you rather do:

1. Que for merc
2. Do AVA, for fights with limited tech
3. Do schoolyard pick challenge matchs (hell if it works out, we could even do the same teams everyday)
4. Have 'event' days? (ie. 10v10 recon only 1 day, 10v10 medic only the next day etc)
5. Any fresh new ideas would also be greatly appreciated.
6. Stfu screw GA (PLEASE SIR, DO NOT PICK THIS OPTION)
7. I just thought of this so: Everyone who wants to play chooses a number between 1 and 10. I will have a predetermined way of splitting whether its evens vs odds, high vs low, splitting people who choose same numbers etc. Probably easier than having a draft and less insulting for 'not above average players' like me hehehe

I'd like to thank anyone who is reading this, and suggest that you adopt flaffy because your patience is unparalleled.

NA Merc was a success that in the end could not last because everyone got tired of the terrible changes that Hirez made to the system making it 8v8 with stupid comps. It is evident from the increase in activity in NA merc in recent months that people still want to play the game. We should not allow stupid changes by Hirez to kill Global Agenda because we have survived so much already. AvA is back but needs more support; the more people that come on and play the better the fights will be and the more people will come back because of the good fights. It’s a chain reaction that will revive Global Agenda and satisfy our desires until Global Agenda 2: Jungle Adventure Beta is released.

I had a lot of people personally thank me and tell me to keep working to keep up the steam group and to get people logging in to merc, but my heart just isn't in it.

8v8 matches with screwed up comps and random noobs made for horrible matchmaking. I think merc should at least be 10v10 or even 12v12 so that people can play non-core classes and simply aoe point without ruining the game because they aren't perfect tracking on IC.

So I had a lot of fun getting back into GA for a month or two. I had hoped that more vets would come back and play, but the mix of people playing was far too spread in skill for such a low population to have good matches.

If anything the group showed why we need at least two skill brackets in GA 2.
It didn't help that people would rather play 1 match of ava than 3 matches of merc in the same time, but I guess that speaks to a lot about how people perceive balance and how they are more willing to lose as a team than with random people who don't work together well, even if they are getting stomped in both cases.

Anyways, it was fun. Thanks to everyone that helped, including Aquadark, Eledrax and Funknapkin.

Don't care about form, rhyme or meter, just be creative and possibly funny. In fact since I am not a poet, and neither are you (probably?) then you can assume the ones that have the best chance of winning will make me laugh.

I will arbitrarily judge the best poem posted by Saturday (July 13th) in the group comments below, and announce the winner on Sunday night (to give myself time to actually read them).
