I think this is a serious missed opportunity for Valve not having remote play up to snuff. With the Steam Machine and Frame around the corner, and the Steam Deck doing well, the fact that I can't just play a game from my PC while it remembers to turn the display off is a huge problem. Apollo and Moonlight do this fine. There was a big emphasis on the Machine streaming to the Frame or the Deck- will it just have a mirrored game display on the TV happening? It's so close- the ability to just select stream on the Steam Deck is great, just give me an easy way to disable my monitor while I do this! Until then I have to go through the Moonlight layer.
