This game is a mistake because they will never get EVERYTHING right again like this did. This is the BEST RGG game that has ever been made and I genuinely don't think it'll be beaten for a LONG while.

They took Judgment's already pretty great combat style and ELEVATED it to a level I never thought they would EVER pull off. It feels like I am playing DMC 5 with the crazy level of freedom this game gives you. All 4 styles are perfect and complement each other SO well.

The music is exceptional. Every fight has a track that fits it perfectly, but the final boss theme is on another level. I was NOT expecting this type of music in a RGG game

The characters PEAK so hard in this game and the conclusion is PERFECT.

There is so much this game offers and so much to talk about that I could genuinely write an essay. If you've played Judgment, Lost Judgment takes EVERYTHING that game did and somehow improves it. Combat, side content, soundtrack, story, villains, emotional moments and so much more.

A genuine 10/10 and in my opinion this is RGG Studio's masterpiece.

The base game is exceptional and added a lot to 2018 (there are now more then like 4 bosses). The story conclusion was great and I loved how everything went down.
The Ragnarok DLC is a great rouge-like and my god the MUSIC is special, hearing "Master Thyself" made me incredibly happy and that ending that made me tear up. What an exceptional game.

Flux Fissure to win.
Also I kind of wished I experienced Shin Amon on PS4 because Shin didn't use the Essence of Framerate.

The reason why I started the yakuza/like a dragon series was because I had an interest for this game particularly and they nailed it OUT of the park, this game is simply phenomenal. The gameplay is WAY better then like a dragon (Y7), the story is better paced and the jobs were more interesting and wayyyy more varied, it feels like there is ACTUAL strategy going on although I still think the game is overall easier the Y7 but honestly it could be because of the new movement system and other stuff that you can do in battle now.

Man some of these story beats hit REALLY different and the ending was just incredible. I still think Y7 has the best ending to any of the yakuza games (heck one of the best endings ever tbh) but this game still did a fantastic job. What a game. I love Itchy balls and the dude that erased his name.

This game had me hooked from the first chapter to the very end. The Characters are the star of the show and are all very loveable and interesting, The combat is VERY fun and addicting and the new turn based system is pretty well executed which shocks me as it is RGG first turn based game in Like a dragon. Also the absurd difficulty spike for THAT fight in chapter 12 was PEAK, I could not be happier by how they executed things.

I am surprised to say this but I love Ichiban almost as much as Kiryu which feels like a crime to say but man the characters are just THAT good. Glory to Ichiban.

This is by far the most ambitious game RGG made at the time and it shows, although the combat is worse mainly because of Kiryu new fighting style (ESPECIALLY the downgraded finishing holds) this game has voice acting for all side quests, had an insane plot that damn near rivals 0 and the ending made me drop a tear. This is the wrap up for my goat Kiryu and gotta say he is my fav Main character in a video game ever. What a legend and a perfect send off for the Dragon of Dojima.

Yakuza 5 is the most ambitious Yakuza game I've played up so far and I really don't think the other games later will be like it.

Kiryu is at his peak here and is also VERY broken since bounding throws don't take heat anymore. Why did they do this you may ask? I can't even tell you.
Saejima throws are absurd in the best way possible.
Haruka was fun.
Shinada was an amazing broke person simulator.
and MY GLORIUS KING AKIYAMA is in the game, he is so cool and makes me happy.

The game is long around 50 hours of build-up leading into a shorter final stretch. It can feel slow at times (especially Saejima ♥♥♥♥ ass snow area), but the payoff works because of that time spent with the characters. I will say tho THIS game will definitely have you burnt out for a good while.
