R.I.P CS:GO 2012-2023

It seems to me that fewer and fewer players like this game anymore, given what’s been happening to it.
Pets, eggs, a rework of the crosshair settings—what for?
Did anyone ask for this?
No.
For many, the game is best remembered by its other name: CS:GO.
That was when esports truly took off in this beloved game—
tournaments, LAN events, the players' emotions...
It was all for nothing.
You tried to make people forget about CS:GO by attempting to make CS2 better, but unfortunately, nothing about the game is actually improving.
March 4, 2026: the addition of the CS:GO page to Steam. What was the point, considering there’s nothing in that version?
Since that date, no one talks about the game. Why bother adding a dead game—one with no support and not even inventory functionality?

A company making huge profits can't split the game in two without dropping support for or shutting down the first part? That’s just ridiculous.
