Awesome. EBF4 is one of those games that I always intend to get but never remembered to buy. I've been on a big rpg kick lately, too. I've been playing FFX on Ps3 and FF7 (PS1 classic version) on Vita.

Yeah, she did get her powers from Mar Vell, I don't quite know what continuity they will use. She was fairly popular in the Avengers Assemble cartoon show which is what I think they use as thier kinda basis to see what might work. It is weird that they are calling her Captain Marvel instead of Ms. Marvel, but I can see them maybe doing the storyline where shes the high ranking agent of Sword the space division of Shield and gets some sort of accident or travels through something alla fantastic four more then anything, maybe the Krees will be the villians and do something. I just can't see them bringing the Krees outside of GotG maybe, i see them trying to not rely too much on one alien race else it gets convuluted. I mean im sure you've noticed the term Skrull is completely absent from the Marvel Cinematic universe which is weird, since they are so prodominant in the comics, and TV shows and I honestly believe we won't ever hear about the Skrulls in the movies, too much confusion.

Wow, all kinds of epicness coming. So, with Cap 3 there being called Civil War, I'm guessing Civil War will be happening to some extent, maybe. Bucky is in the movies, so Cap could "die" without leaving him out of other movies.
Doctor Strange will hopefully be awesome. The next few years are looking to be good for fans of comic movies.

Personally, I'm not too big a fan of Captain Marvel or any of Carol Danvers, except maybe when she was Warbird with the Avengers (I think that was her, right?). Also, I thought she got her powers from Captain Marvel and that's why she took up his name? I could be confused, though. I don't really know much about her. I tend to read the majority of comics long after their release in the collected versions when possible (if not, I get them from unsavory sites), and neither Captain Marvel nor Ms. Marvel have interested me enough to follow their individual stories. They've kinda been just side characters in the series I do follow.

Rumors are Garfield will make a cameo in Avengers 3, Sony is much more willing to play ball with Spider-Man because it's good money and popularity for the character they own the rights too and currently the Spider-Man franchise can use all the help it can get.

Hey, have you seen the trailer for Age of Ultron? I just saw it a few minutes ago. I'm super-pumped up from it. When I saw the Hulkbuster suit I almost had to unzip my pants, lmao. Looks like Scarlet Witch is gonna have some part in it, too. She's one of my faves. I wonder if her being in Age of Ultron means they'll start getting X-Men synced up with the other Marvel movies. It'd be awesome if they would 'cause then there's a possibility of a Civil War or House of M movie. I have Warframe and Killzone, eventually I? wanna get the killzone Season pass because they are gonna add a wave based co/op mode to the game for 4 players like warframe. Battlefield is still the tits though, just got premium for it last night. But I need to invest some time into warframe.

Nah, I'm an idiot. The sealed gamefly envelope was on my kitchen table ready to be sent back, but I forgot to actually put it in a friggin' mailbox. I just realized that yesterday and ran it out to the mailbox. I have Killzone, though (an early present from my parents), and I've also been playing a lot of Warframe. I've only played solo, but it's a game designed for multi/co-op.

Nice dude, yeah it takes some time till you find that perfect mix, it kinda be kinda confusing, its not your normal cookie cutter mmo like WoW but theres some fun there, and yeah I am much more of a marvel fan, but this game isnt based on the new 52 its mostly based on designs and stories that were done in the 90's\ cartoons we grew up with.

The opening cinematic was pretty badass. I'm not very big into DC, but damn, that got me into the game.

I only really played through the solo intro part of DCUO, but it seemed pretty nifty. I spent more time in that than was probably intended, just so I could get used to the feel of it. By the time I got through the intro, I decided that I'm gonna make a different hero, though. Now that I have a bit of a feel for the mechanics, I think I'll be able to make a better hero. Going in blind, I kinda just picked skills that sounded cool. I went with acrobatics (I think) and the dual pistols. I wanted to be kinda like Deadpool, lol. I'm gonna do something different on the next one.

But a few hours in loving super powers, but it made me download DCUO again and dabble around in that. Have you ever played that by chance? DC Universe Online its free to play now and soooo much fun. If you wanted to give it a shot let me know Id start a new char over and play with ya! But if you love superhero games and ARPG its the best F2P MMO around and lots of free content.

No issues yet, at first, i thought all the graphical flickering in the virtual city was issues on my end for like a minute till I was like this is happening way too often to not be part of the game hah!

Yeah, since I'm an unemployed drunkard, my schedule seems to always be different, lmao. We'll figure something out, though. Have you run into any bugs in SR4 yet? It's been mostly bug-free for me, but the forums are complaining about a handful of issues.

Well, you'd probably be okay. They've been referencing stuff from SR2 and it hasn't hurt my enjoyment of it. Imo, though, if you ever plan to play SR3, you might wanna do that first. I loved SR3, but after all of the new things introduced in 4, I doubt I will ever feel like replaying 3. I had lots of extra play time in 3 by just driving around the city or creating chaos. In 4 you can do the exact same plus much more with the addition of the super powers. It would kinda make 3 feel much more bland. Story-wise, though, you won't miss out too much. I do enjoy the story of 4 more by having played through 3, though. If you played on easy and skipped side activities, you could probably power through 3 rather quickly. It's plenty silly, but I actually thought the overall story was very good. I dunno. I'm kinda giving mixed (and excessively complicated) messages.

Do they reference SR3 at all or should I be ok?

Fyi, they still haven't fixed SR4, so you might not want to get into that yet.
They're saying that saves will probably be fine when they release the next patch, but, imo, it doesn't seem worth the risk of having messed up saves.

So far, I'm loving it. During the 1st tutorial mission, I was thinking that it might not be my cup o' tea, but once the game stopped holding my hand, I started really getting into it. I really like the research/engineering/base-building aspect of it. Also, like you, I decided to name some units after people I know. It was uncomfortable when my sister didn't make it...

haha just do normal and just take your time with it, the micro management of like satellite coverage and threat levels can be tough. But the gameplay is amazing turn based RTS in a modernized format, but when you die you stay dead. I always name my favorite characters after people i know gives it more weight.
