Creature Kitchen is one of those games that you recommend to people because it's weird in the best way. The creatures are interesting to meet, the cooking is fun, and the puzzles are perfectly suited to the game style.

There is a "creepiness" to the game, but it works well with the story, and I think it adds a lot of refreshing character. Be aware, the game intro is LOUD, and that cannot be changed in the audio (think THX intros from movies back in the day).

I highly recommend getting this game if you enjoy a spooky ambience, puzzles, and wholesome interactions. It's a short play time, but the entertainment is well worth the price. I wish there were more, but I'm honestly super satisfied. Wonderful game!

The Last Gas Station is an absolute gem of a game. The music is phenomenal. The gameplay is smooth and the management system works well with the story. The minigames are satisfying (though I wish there was a setting to turn of the automated upgrades if I wanted to just spend some time chilling and working - [EDIT: the devs have recently added an immersive option for this in the game!]). I loved the animations/graphics, sounds, and characters throughout, and the ending(s) each had their own merits. I really like that you don't have to replay the entire game to get all endings, as that is usually a huge deterrent for me.

I will say that if you are going for 100% completion, this game can be a bit grindy. Once you've upgraded your shop, there isn't a lot to do throughout each day, so I ended up working on something IRL and just clicking/moving through each day until I got all achievements and list items completed. Fishing is a similar situation - it's RNG, so it could get tedious if you're going for one particular fish.

Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed The Last Gas Station. If you enjoy cozy, management, story, or even just pixelated games, I wholeheartedly recommend this one - 10/10!

Side note: I usually skip end credits because I'm somewhat impatient, but I could not skip them for this game because that final song is SO. GOOD.
