Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 4 - Campaign
Brutal. Beautiful. And absolutely heartbreaking.

I honestly don’t even know where to begin.
I’ve been a Call of Duty fan for years, and Modern Warfare has always meant more to me than just another game. But MW4… this one hit differently.

The campaign was incredible. The storytelling, the atmosphere, the characters, the emotions — everything came together in a way that left me sitting there long after the credits rolled, trying to process what I’d just experienced.

And then there’s the heartbreak.
It’s one thing to lose characters in a game. It’s another to feel the weight of everything they’ve been through, everything they’ve lost, and everything they’ll never get back. The story made me think. About loyalty, betrayal, grief, and what remains of a person when they’ve lost almost everything. Ghost’s story is particularly painful because beneath the mask, beneath the soldier, there’s a human being who’s been through more than anyone should have to endure.

And somehow, that’s what makes this campaign so powerful. It doesn’t just give you action and explosions. It leaves you with an emptiness you can’t simply shake off once you turn the game off. I went into MW4 as a fan. I came out of it with a broken heart and a thousand thoughts I still can’t quite put into words.

The entire sequence in and around Korea was absolutely insane. The atmosphere, the intensity, the way everything unfolded, I was completely blown away. It was brutal, cinematic, and unforgettable. And then there’s the open-field mission, Stranded. Holy sh*t. That mission was on another level entirely. The scale, the tension, the feeling of being thrown right into the middle of absolute chaos… it was everything I love about Call of Duty at its best. Those moments reminded me why I fell in love with this franchise in the first place.


I laughed with these characters. I worried about them. I got attached to them. And now I’m left thinking about everything that happened, wondering how someone is supposed to keep going when so much has been taken from them.

MW4 was brutal. It was incredible. It was heartbreaking. And I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything.
