für mich ist OoT das beste Spiel des 20. Jh. und Witcher 3 bisher das beste des 21. Jh. Die Quests sind genial und die Addons ihren Preis wert. Story, Stil/Grafik der verschiedenen Ländereien und die Musik einfach alles passt perfekt zusammen. Das kostenlose next-gen Update (version 4), hat das Spiel nochmals verbessert, man merkt gar nicht dass es 10 Jahre auf den Buckel hat.

ABER das neue Remastered (version 5), hat dem Spiel sehr geschadet. Das Spiel soll absichtlich eine düstere Welt darstellen, mit dem neuen raytracing ist es viel zu hell. So hell dass man nichtmal mehr Steinchen auf der Straße erkennt, Ambient Occlussion ist zum Fremdwort geworden. Natürlich wird das alles trotzdem berechnet und kostet Leistung, dann aber falsch dargestellt.
Das karge Skelige wird zum fröhlichen Toussaint. Haare & Details verschwommen (zB die Sommersprossen von Siri fast verschwunden), vermutlich durch KI verschlimmbessert.

Man merkt eindeutig dass vorher Designer mit der vorhandenen Technik gearbeitet haben, jetzt wird einfach eine neue Technik ersetzt ohne auch die Vision mit zu adaptieren.
Zum Glück kann man bei Steam auswählen welche Version installiert werden soll, ich bleib definitiv bei 4.

10 jahre später und das spiel bekommt immer noch updates. da können sich einige ein beispiel nehmen.

Otherwise nice game but not as good as Overlord 1. Bad Spells, Armory and even the visuals. Also no funny jokes.

schönes Spiel mit enorm viel Liebe zum Detail. Leider ist es zwanghaftes MultiKulti und Genderwahn zum Opfer gefallen. Das Nahrungssystem finde ich auch schlecht, wenn man bestimmte Nahrungsmittel wie Schwein oder Brot hat, braucht man kein Fisch, Gemüse oder Kürbise mehr. Man sollte belohnt werden für vielfälltiges Bauen, nicht bestraft.

currently in EA it's unbalanced, for example an upgraded worker cost much more than many unskilled workers but also does less work, therefore useless.

It's a mix of assasins creed and gta. It feels more like doing work than beeing entertained. Mafia 1 & 2 were way better.

It was a very good game, i played every years holiday (I'm already bit older) the conquest mode with all clans (on setting difficult). Now it's frustrating, impossible map generation and randomly overpowered AI. Just some examples:
A map where you can't generate money, only by finding treasures and you start with enough money for one warrior. But the two nearest/reachable treasures are both protected by bears or skeletons which you can't beat with one warrior.
A map where you protect a dragon egg, but after one ingame-year the enemies surround you each! with 7-10 warriors, in a time where I afforded 3 warriors.
Or where you cant expand because of natural borders, but where you could expand its to early protected by strong Giants or Valkyrie and so you stuck long time in very limited space while enemy AI can reach win conditions.
With odin update enemy sends 4 battle ships destroying half of your population every 5 min.

It feels like the random map generation algorithm is not updated with all the new content and clan updates they do, in to many cases its unfair and not fun or entertaining me. Or maybe the game switched from a "chill" RTS to a younger fast RTS. Also with the newest rework (odin) and clan they worse-updated the game (overpowered relics or technology), maybe it was needed for multiplayer, I don't know.
All in all it WAS the money worth.
