Any praise this game gets is well deserved, it very much feels like a sandbox game yet very story driven where you can get through encounters in so many different ways, super enjoyable in multiplayer and still enjoyable in single player because of how the story might be told in a different way when you have the unique cast of companions along with you.

The REmake has been one of my favourite games of all time but this one might actually take that spot, it's so good it almost makes me angry, happy but angry that there isn't much more greatness like this.

The updates to all the character developments is absolutely superb with gameplay that still is very similar to the original but much more modernised in terms of how it feels and damn does it feel good!

I found out about this game by playing the lovely game Holocure which is inspired by this, I haven't felt this hooked by an indie game since The Binding of Isaac came out! It's like a reverse bullet hell where you become the the source of all the bullets against a swarm of enemies.

I also love the way the game gives you hints on how to unlock the harder challenges and unlockables without directly showing you how to do it!

The game has the best feeling gameplay when it comes to shooting stuff that I have ever experienced but I cannot bring myself to support this game or the studio anymore.

It does not matter how much content you pay for you will still be treated like a free to play player and any content you pay for will be removed in a year.
