Got me addicted to good point and click adventures. I fiend now for many games that don't exist close to this genre. My most missed feature was the unique dual joystick setup.

So far The Excavation of Hob's Barrow did meet some of those expectations. I haven't tried a lot tho, but from research doesn't seem like many compare. Thimbleweed Park is close, but the classic verb system I really do hate, especially as a controller user.

Next up is Return to Monkey Island.
