I don't see where the hate for this game comes from, it sticks to the Devil may cry series ridiculous action sequences and mood, with fluid gameplay, style PACKED combat and a wide variety of environments it plays well, is fun as hell and contains 2 solid campaigns.

The main story was great, every boss on the first run felt daunting and exciting, I'd probably even prefer this to MGR if this had the timeslow hack into bits mechanic MGR had.

Only negative aspects for me are the overused consoley sections. Like platforming with the hooks/boosts, but they're bearable.

Solid 8/10 on my strict scale. VERY recommended if you're a fan of action and fun.

It still needs an update so the damage numbers from savagely clicking dont cover the plot.

A fun and quirky metroidvania game. Entertaining dialogue and story, responsive controls and good gameplay. my only gripes are that it's a little on the short side and there is not that much diversity.

I have 12 hours on the game only due to leaving it on all day even while I took breaks. With no guide i had 99.80% completion and 100% items within 5-6 hours.

That seems short, but honestly theres alot of content and the map is a pretty decent size.

8/10 for the price. get it if its on sale and you like sidescrolling.

The best single player FPS I've played in many years.
The humor is crude, the gore is excessive, and the pacing keeps you playing for hours.

Tight FPS that rewards strategy and practice. The best competitive shooter available right now, with constant updates I don't see this game dying anytime soon but it can be a pretty frustrating game with a tempermental player base.
