This is a different game style from Chilla Art's previous games.
Whereas his previous games feel very horror centric and more thrilling, Umigari shifts the genre by becoming more thought provoking and philosophical. I did appreciate the overall gameplay as well, having gameplay elements such as harpooning and boosting and even golden variations of the fish that you capture.

Unfortunately, I got the bad ending at the first try which is entirely the developer's fault. Under no circumstance am I to blame for getting the bad ending whatsoever. None. Not a single shred of fault lays with me. Yup. Outside of this one grievous mistake that the developers made, I highly recommend this game. It has great value and you can really delve deep into the replayability of capturing every fish and their golden variation.

The Voice is a well-designed horror game. From the puzzles to the "lore" and reasoning of the storyline, I enjoyed (almost) my entire stay of the game. The were some moments when you mess up and restart from the beginning that felt very tedious and time-gated, but other than that, I think everything else was good. The ending was pretty obvious, especially with all the hints and clues that the dialogue provides as you play the mini-games. Regardless, it was a cool experience and relatively cheap, which is why I can only recommend this game.

Overall, I enjoyed this game a lot.

The music and the pacing were excellent, I really felt empowered while playing.
Story-wise, I liked how gory and bloody that the game surprisingly is (I had no idea beforehand) because I believe it remains true to the actual fairy tales in Scandanavian literature.

I recommend this game to anybody who has not fully watched a playtime or has played this game yet.

I really enjoyed my time playing MiSide.

The main focus of this game is the story--it's not simply a bunch of mini-games and jump scare horror, there's a deeper moral undertone in regards to complacency and monotony.
I don't want to spoil anything, but I enjoyed how the game ends (all three endings) and I enjoyed following the story throughout.

Definitely a game for people who like visual novels, as this is basically just a 3D visual novel (in the best way).

I enjoyed my stay with Akari. I did not appreciate her glasses for I am a member of the anti-glasses faction. However, her story is compelling and her actions inspire me to dream bigger, to strive for more than the mundane. I believe every creature that games should play this particular one to it's entirety.

I recommend PockeDate! - Pocket Dating Simulator.

A very solid 6/10 game. I recommend the game if you're looking for something chill and therapeutic to play.

I may have spent 42 hours on this game, but I do believe that it was worth it.

This is my first "realistic dating visual novel", but I definitely think it was well-done.
From the story to the actual editing of the transitions, I highly recommend this game.

For only $8 (on sale), I believe the value you get from this game is worth it.
Also my favorite girl, Selina, is the lowest ranked. Please send in all your medals to boost her up :)

This game may be good for others who are new to the realistic dating visual novel. However, after playing the other Chinese one titled "I'm Falling For You", I simply cannot say that this game is good.

The reason being, the storyline feel disconnected from each scene. Time jumps ahead with no way to understand what is happening.

Additionally, the transition cuts are very jarring. It feels as if your game is freezing and glitching out, before transitioning to the next scene.

Finally, the audio quality is mediocre at best. The voices echo in ways they shouldn't and some scenes have the quality of audio abruptly change from line to line, as if it were re-recorded somewhere else and forced into the scene.

Overall, I cannot recommend this game to anybody, and instead refer to other Chinese dating visual novels.

It's a good game, especially Murder Trivia Party 2.

However, it is very needy and requires a lot of validation...*

Layers of Fear is a deep and intricate story game hidden behind scenes of horror and fright. Having played the original Layers of Fear, I came in with the expectation of the same game play. Little did I know, things have changed from the original game; for the better, dare I add. The story advanced beyond the simple "dad is drunk again and hates mommy". I highly recommend this game for people who enjoy story games with layers of fear (haha).
