This game sucks balls. Engine fall is way better. this game is dead after that game comes out.

The Elder system kills the entire payoff of growing.

In a survival game, the core loop should be:
survive the brutal vulnerable phase → earn a long rewarding adult phase.

Right now in The Isle it feels like:

80% growth grind
10% actual adult gameplay
instant decline/reset

That’s not even biologically accurate either. Real dinosaurs spent huge portions of their lives in their physical prime after surviving adolescence.

A T. rex didn’t finally become massive just to immediately become weak. Maiasaura maintained peak strength for years after maturity too.

Adult should be a stable “prime” phase for a large part of the lifecycle. Elder should feel like a rare late-game achievement for dinosaurs that survive exceptionally long — not an immediate punishment for finally reaching Full maturity.

Most adults already die naturally from fights, starvation, dehydration, or mistakes (cliffs) anyway. The sandbox already controls population without needing forced rapid decline.

Game is kind of Shallow, They need to expand heavily in all areas. Right now the game is like wanting to be CK3 and Rimworld but CK3 kind of sucks and it's like a bad version of Rimworld. They need to flesh this game out a lot more.

Game is kind of boring, has no real objectives. I probably just don't know how to enjoy the game too.

AS of 2026 this game is in the worst state it has ever been

Game is a bore fest. It's like every other mmo. There's also no mounts and tons of walking. If you like walking a lot, this game is for you. but i give this crap game 1/10 can i get a refund
