To preface it: The steam deck verified status is technically correct. If you reduce the quality, the game runs at a steady 30 fps on deck. The visuals are mostly blurry and do not look particularly good on deck.
The VA work is fairly solid, with access to both the original VA and the updated ones.

The presentation for key scenes is nice, however the animations looping are pretty mediocre in how few there is.

Fun and simple, a keystone for visual novels to come after. Aquaplus foray into 3D was a very mixed bag.

For the price, you could do much worse.

If this game isn't malware, it's a complete waste of time. It was using 93% of my GPU (RTX 5090) for motion blur slop.
Please avoid this, i gotta run a virus scanner for this shovelware.
They claimed 2 months ago to "shut down" meanwhile attempting to release a new game in two days from this review.

It's a really fun game. If you enjoy worlds, you'll enjoy this game. Unfortunately, even on relatively high end hardware (RTX 3090, Ryzen 7950X3D) the performance issues are glaring, textures don't load properly, and the game in 21:9 1440p ultrawide can barely retain 60fps most of the time on medium settings DLSS Quality.
Capcom please fix.

I cannot recommend the game until these issues have been addressed and bad development practices are fixed.

Very kings field esque aesthetic and combat system.
Game is piss easy overall but don't let that take away from what a fun little romp into a bug kingdom.

A lot of little ideas in a little package.

Has potential to lead towards more, but as it stands, it's worth the money. It didn't overstay its welcome as a single player experience, hope to escort friends through it one day.

A fun game I picked up for roughly 12$. The mechanics are solid, the initial crew is more than capable of handling the roughest patches of gameplay. Normal mode for experienced Turn Based players will be an okay introduction, but the real meat is on hard mode and beyond. The resource management is really loose and allows for rapid experimentation between levels. The stress mechanics play hard and loose early on in the game, but mid-late it's a non-factor.

Rating: DESTROY THE VERMIN/10

Great social program.
Absolutely horrid choice of anticheat, overly intrusive and unhelpful to the general playing experience. Entirely tone-deaf and incomprehensible for the purpose.

Under the current circumstances, i'm consistently getting timed out on servers with a ping of 81ms.

Gameplay is smooth and it runs far better than arma 3. Wish there was more vehicle variety.

Wait until more issues get resolved before purchasing.

Fantastic odd game. Would buy another Yoko Taro game given the chance.

Deep story, excellent voice acting. Narrative driven game with many endings. Truly awesome.

I am no reviewer. However with my time playing the game i found it fun at first then tediously hurtful later on. It told a story every level through words you pass by. That is until they started moving it from every level to every other level then to every third level. The puzzles are definitely in variety. Although you will probably angery with some of the mechanics suddenly making you die a few times just to see where a certain color is. The issue is they require you to die or have incredible memory for a photonic few seconds. Otherwise its a lack luster game with little story depth.
