I used to love Global Offensive. It had its flaws, but it felt competitive, rewarding, and fair enough to keep thousands of hours invested. CS2, on the other hand, feels like an empty shadow of what this franchise used to be.

Matchmaking right now is borderline unplayable. Premier and standard competitive are overrun with wallhackers, aimbotters, and blatant toggle cheats. What makes it worse is the profile check after every sketchy round:

- Brand new Steam accounts
- 30 to 100 hours total playtime
- Level 1 Steam profiles with zero other games
- Movement like a complete novice, but pre-firing through walls with perfect crosshair placement

VAC Live feels completely non-existent. In CS:GO, you at least felt like reporting did something, or that Trust Factor somewhat isolated the trash. In CS2, you can queue up into fresh accounts dropping 30-bombs while tracking heads through smokes, and nothing happens. Instead of fixing the anti-cheat, addressing the horrible subtick feedback, or cleaning up official servers, Valve just keeps rolling out skin updates and cases. If you loved CS:GO, CS2 will break your heart. Until Valve actually cares enough to implement a functional anti-cheat, save your time and sanity. Do not recommend.
