Path of Exile x Dark Souls x Valheim. Very fun with friends and a very fun experience that I wasn't expecting to be as zen/ relaxing as it's turned out to be

Was a hater when the game was announced and they said it would be an extraction shooter, but damn it I'm actually having fun.

I give it a 7-8/10, but fully aware that Bungie is ready to absolutely fumble the ♥♥♥♥ out of the good thing they've made the first chance they get.

Genuinely one of the most unforgettable and engaging coop experiences I've had in the past decade next to my first playthrough of Elden Ring and Bloodborne. Each area was so well thought out and paced, and the progression of both the story and your own power level is just chef's kiss. You're always getting more stuff that makes you more efficient, more powerful, which lets you explore more easily, which lets you find even more stuff, making you more efficient, and it feels so good to explore and do it all that you don't even realize that 100 hours have passed.

Absolutely 10/10 level design that genuinely makes you want to constantly explore and find each and every secret that the GATE facility has hidden away. The level designers absolutely outdid themselves with every area they made, both thematically and with how you navigate them. Each and every portal world is a treat to go through, and the amount of resources you'll need to gather for each one will always demand you learn new routes, or build your own to dominate the facility and bend it to your will.

The intro does not do the game justice for what kind of experience it's going to be, but I can easily say that it's one that's best shared with friends, so you should all strap in together since it's quite a ride. Genuinely a contender for my personal Game of the Year for 2025.

One of the most compelling art styles I've ever seen presented in a videogame, coupled with probably one of the best narrators you could ever ask for.

Amazing writing, great audiowork, and incredibly unique gameplay make for one of my favorite strategy games of all time next to 2012's XCOM: Enemy Unknown.
