Whether you're a long-time fan or just getting in to it, this is the best [official] simulator for YuGiOh hands down.

The gameplay is pretty fluid, and has a lot of flair unlike the previous Legacy of the Duelist games, Solo Mode is finally NOT just about the anime and instead lets you train yourself against different archetypes (with a story behind the cards to go with it).

Online duelling flows well, and yes, a lot of games can become solitaire if you don't run hand traps, but that's the meta ain't it? At the end of the day, I also love this game just to play online with friends quickly and easily when we can't meet IRL.

The main drawback in my opinion is the Secret Pack system.
While I understand how it works, I can't help but feel there could be a better way,
I call it a drawback, because if you were blissfully unaware starting out, you could hamper your initial progress towards building a viable deck. So here are my tips below for anyone jumping in.

All in all, this is a great version of official, digital YuGiOh, and if played wisely, you can do more than enough to have hours of fun playing purely free to play.

Pack system tips:
- When you first make an account you will be given a metric buttload of gems
- Buying packs as a lot of 10 will guarantee you some higher rarities (you want this regardless)
- You unlock archetype packs (secret packs, good for targeting a deck theme) by either dismantling cards for Crafting Points at each rarity, or pulling a higher rarity from that archetype in a pack.

Do not buy raw master packs! These draw from the entire card pool and you will rarely get what you want.

Instead...
- Buy the staple card packs featuring ash blossom, infinite imperm, lightning storm... etc.
- These will give you a discounted handful of master packs to get you started AND a staple card UR.
- This means you can either unlock a secret pack from pulling a card to spend your gems, or breakdown cards you pull and don't want to craft a card by searching it in deck builder, and unlocking the pack that way.

Happy dueling!

tl;dr: Hades good. You must play.

LONG VERSION:
Hades is the absolute pinnacle and culmination of all Supergiant's work thus far. The gorgeous artstyle and driving and moving Korb soundtrack are agiven for Supergiant, but moreso than their previous work (which I still adore) Hades benefits from a very well-defined scope that is constantly on target -- Greek Mythology.

Hades is true to its tagline of a god-like rogue like. While some want to debate that it's a rogue-lite, I disagree this is what a rogue like should be. Incredible variety through an insane amount of runs with small permanent progression between runs.

Centred around Greek mythology Hades presents fun takes on the gods of Olympus helping Zagreus, the player escape the underworld. The artstyle and OST are stellar - par for Supergiant. The gameplay hits new highs for the developer with an action packed gameplay loop filled with much variety; providing endless builds and narrative tidbits as you play.

Hades is a must-play if you enjoy the rogue-like genre, Supergiant, Greek mythology, or simply fast paced action gameplay.

Excellent sports*-style party game, easy to learn, hard to master. Always a lot of fun.

Great game to kick back with some music to. Higher difficulties not for the faint of heart.

The best $20 I ever spent spontaneously, however once you hit your skill cap, prepare to either push through or be frustrated.

The game is still incredible just to experience what you can of the lovingly crafted art and sound.

This is definitely one of the most intriguing games I've played in a long time.

The devs absolutely succeeded with their vision.

Don't let this game pass you by if you can help it - and use the best headphones you have access to!

I love Dishonored to death, both the main game and the story-based DLC packs were stellar.

BUT

On a roll, I decided to spend my time going full completionist and getting all the achievements. Now I'm stuck with five or so to go out of 80, the ones remaining being from this DLC. It's incredibly frustrating.

Achievements aside, the challenges are just completely hit and miss, and something feels 'off' about them compared to the main game, weird problems with jumping and other moments occur that cause me physical and emotional pain, because this is just a mark on one of my favourite games.

I wish I never bought this pack. However, buy the other DLC and the main game, they are amazing.

Sadly, I cannot recommend this DLC, unless it gets cheaper, or you're a Souls fanatic like me. The short time I spent in Ariandel was fantastic, and I look forward to future ventures in more playthroughs, but it is true, while quality is up there, quantitiy is serverely lacking.

Spoilers below.

Arriving with a few spare hours to explore I jumped right in to the painting, and I was done before I even realised.
The single new location is gorgeous, and does return the interconnectedness we love from say DS1, but it os simply too short. After stumbling across the Gravetender and taking him and his pet down with little trouble I thought I'd only recieved a taste of this DLC, but it was an entire spoonful.

Reviews from places like IGN cite five to ten hours depending on where you look, but I assure you, I am no Souls master and spent 3 hours in the new area before Id finished up.

The PvP arena is mediocre, it helps govern PvP, but it doesnt do anything surprising. It does not make up for the length of the DLC.

This would be more forgivable overall if the cheaper, fantastic DLC of Old Hunters hadnt preceeded it, five bosses, three new areas and many secrets.

TLDR: AoA is fantastic, but only a VERY short burst of content, recommend highly at a cheaper price or for hardcore fans.

If you want a game with an infinite universe, lovely background music and fun physics; save $50 and buy this instead of No Man's Sky, they both end the same way anyway.
