Ticket to Earth is one of if not the best Indie Games to come out this year.

It takes the RPG Puzzler to the next level. Seemingly simple but soon enough it will have to questioning your choices and re-evaluating the strategies you used to get past the first clutch of levels. You think you'll have it sorted out but TTE (ticket to earth) does extremely good job in subtly shaking things up.

This game will appeal to the casual Puzzler fan as well as a veteran RPG fiend. Unlike other Puzzle RPGs where skill trees feel linear and included "just because that makes it an RPG" TTE manages to provide a skill tree that won't overwhelm the RPG newbie but gives more than enough freedom for the seasoned RPG player to build the characters the way they want. I should also note there this a wide range of abilities for each character and a nice selection of weapons that have sockets. So yes it's every bit an RPG as well as a puzzler.

Everything about this game has been meretriciously crafted. The characters are fun and engaging, the story is brilliant with dialog cut-scenes that you don't just want to breeze through by clicking skip. The artwork style pops and is instantly memorable, the sound design fits perfectly, the soundtrack is awesome and compliments the various stages of the game well. The UI is crisp and intuitive and at no point have I become frustrated with the UI in any way which is massive as I am a UI/UX nerd, heck even the way in which the tutorials are laid out and paced quickly gets you familiar with the game without initially overloading you with mechanics.

TL;DR - Ticket to Earth is brilliant and you should buy it, NOW!
