Starting with the biggest issue: The game does not respect your sensitivity to bright/flashing lights/epilepsy. If you die on the ground your screen flashes white. In combat people have "powers" that make your screen flash white. This is unacceptable.

Likes:
-The synergy between ship and crew results in spectacle. That's the essence of Trek.
-It's the good kind of free to play where everything you buy enhances your experience.
-They constantly give you ships and upgrades through events. You don't need to spend money, just play through a holiday.
-Generally nice community of Trekkies

Dislikes:
-The onboarding process is garbage. It takes a week to go to level 30 where the game unlocks enough that you can try everything. You can't just tell a friend to join you because they'll have a bad time.
-The 15m EC cap is the scummiest and stingiest thing in the game.
-Bridges are functionally useless and that's a big missed opportunity.
-The storyline has been written, rewritten, truncated, spliced, diced and minced over the years.
-The game will likely never see any upgrades to it's engine or mechanics.
-Experienced players will rush through co-op missions leaving you scratching your head as to what to do.
