I hold Paradox Interactive fully responsible for the recent disrespectful incidents on the agenda. My years-long HOI4 journey has surpassed 3,000 hours, and I write this review with the honesty of not denying that I had an enjoyable time. Yet, disregarding all this time spent, I do not recommend this game.

Don't say, "Why do I care, I'm not Turkish." The day will come when they may show all kinds of disrespect toward your exalted or sacred values as well.

I swear never to play any game from a company that treats decency like prepaid call credits they can't bear to spend, preaches global change without making a single step in personal growth, adopts the mindset of "it’s better to move on than to wear down here" as their core rule, and is ultimately so utterly ordinary that they're barely worth dedicating the next radio song to.

As the Turkish people, our demand is for the company to step back from its aggressive stance toward our sacred values and issue a formal apology. It is our hope that they will never again exhibit such a ruthless and reckless attitude toward any racial, national, religious or sacred value.
