Palworld has ended up being one of those games that completely steals your time without you realizing it. It mixes creature collecting, base building, automation, exploration, and survival into something that feels surprisingly fresh.

The world is beautiful and rewarding to explore, with plenty of secrets, bosses, and different environments that encourage you to keep pushing further. The Pals all have distinct personalities and practical uses, making them feel like more than just creatures to collect.

With the 1.0 release, Palworld has gone from a great game to an incredible one. The amount of new content that's been added is honestly impressive, and it feels like the developers have taken feedback to heart at every step. I genuinely can't think of a single area that hasn't been improved. One of the biggest strengths of Palworld is how much freedom it gives you. You can play at your own pace, focus on whatever part of the game you enjoy most, and still feel like you're making meaningful progress. It's fantastic solo, but it's even better with friends.

Foxhole is a rough jewel, a unique and interesting game concept with complex mechanics where a player will find they can do nearly everything in this sandbox military game. From logistics to combat, stopping by to transport and build defensive structures to support your faction assets, you can find a lot of different kind of gameplay.

In this game a player is but one cog in the great war machine, for better, or worse.

And after having played for few years, in the current state I can only say it is for worse.
The game albeit interesting in its asymmetric warfare system, suffer great imbalance from one update to another, for one faction to another. It has always been the case so far, but it became an even worse issue when the content added brought so much length to each war and grindiness in the game.

It sorely lacks quality of life tools, and when the grind is so bad, - even worse since the addition in 1.0, the game become painful. Player base tire and population vary so much in a single war due to burnouts that it worsens the imbalance.
Hours and hours of work can literally burn in mere minutes, you won't even get the rewarding feeling that "it held well even it fell" because... well no one was there to defend, and the IA defences can't do much against PVE. There is nothing rewarding in that.

Developer do not moderate (or there is so very few things done that it make no difference). There is no anti cheat, no actions against abuse. There is no proper voice moderation nor text chat regulation. Nothing against bots, nor against alting, and griefing is only punished by "player justice", whether it is justified or not.

I sincerelly hope that the game evolve in a better direction and that I can change this review to something more positive.
