I really want to recommend and continue it but it has some issues that has me dropping the game.
1. Controls: I'm guessing the game was meant for controller because mouse and keyboard felt off.
2. Death penalty system: If you lose a character during battle it get a permanent stats debuff like -1 Defense. Congrats your character that was probably already lagging behind the rest now has less experience and will die even faster in the next mission where you'll fight even stronger enemies. Also there's no saving during missions so you can easily lose 20 to 30 minutes of progress.
3. The weapon system: Each character has 4 weapons with slight different stats regarding, power, accuracy, crit and wt. Which seems pretty cool at first but it means that every turn you spend most of your time comparing each attack for what's best at that moment. Which slows gameplay to a crawl.
Also it feels weird for a realism standpoint, just imagine an archer fumbling around with 4 bows strapped to hit body switch between them for every shot.
The biggest problem is probably the pacing, the game is slow to play even compared to other tactical RPG's and incentivizes either loading a lot or playing very slow and methodically.

Finally a game worth buying a full price because it's not full of microtransactions.
