I ignore the friendship proposal if you have:
hidden profile
Steam level less than 15 (I can make an exception if the game has good dialogue or something else)
VAC ban in incentive

I delete / ban from friends for:
begging (if not familiar)
mate or insult (if not familiar)
phishing (from your infected account)
VAC-ban in incentive (but I can make an exception if a verified person)
abandoned account (offline for more than 30 days)
an invitation to join the group \ community (if not familiar, or previously obscene behavior)

A little bit about myself :
⌦ I play mainly with friends and acquaintances. But do not throw the invitation more than two times, it is very annoying.
⌦ I often look at profiles of different people, if you have something interesting - write, I will be happy to see your profile design (screenshots, background, description, etc.)
Every 2-3 months I clean my friends list.
