Fun experience for an hour. Finish the game, get all the achievements and move on. Perfect for a morning or afternoon to quickly 100% a game. Quick 7/7 expereince; would recommend for cheap 100%.

Not a hard game, but a little tedious in the things that need to be done. Overall, 5/7; achievement grind is worth it.

The game can be completed in two playthroughs, and will probably take a weekend or two.
Most of the game's puzzles are intuitive, but will require running from one end of the mansion to the other, seemingly to draw out play time. The collectibles are mostly on the main character path, while occaisonally needing to stray off the main path for a few odd collectibles.
Two characters play mostly the same other than different optional dialogues/interactions with NPC's.
There is a speed-run achievement, however, the cutscenes add into the play-time, so skipping them will significantly decrease play-time.
Cinematic game, with a few supernatural twists, and some spooky cult bugs, and some spooky cult dimensions, and some spookyt occult-cult stuff; 5/7.

An interesting art style with a captivating story, a slower-paced game to unwind to. No languages are spoken, so everything is conveyed through gestures.
Open all the gates you can, and a playthrough will probably take around 4 hours. If you forget a gate and have to replay a memory: it can get a little repetitive.
However, overall, this game is a pretty solid achievement grind. Get it done in the better part of an afternoon; with a guide. 5/7 would recommend.

The game is great, but not worth sticking it out, to watch all of the different takes/choice combinations; 4/7. Once for the story should be good enough; second playthrough for different choices. But then, the tedious cycle of repeating/re-watching the same chapters to see something new.

The game would improve drastically if the Cutting Room Floor, allowed you to skip cutscenes to get to the new stuff, faster. I want to see it all, not repeat/rewatch the same 12 scenes for 30+ hours just to maybe see 1 hour of new content.

The achievement completion is rough, the game requires you to find every combination of scenes and choices possible. It's doable, but you will watch the same cutscenes/replay the same chapters for multiple hours at a time. If the Cutting Room Floor allowed you to skip watched cutscenes: 6/7. However, it doesn't so in the end, this achievement completion is easy, but tedious; 4/7.

A low-pace, ease-you-into-gaming level of simplicity, combines with a unique art style to bring you into the 1920's, to click through a short private investigation.
The achievements are a checklist of the game content, and it can be completed in about 2-4 hours.
Click everything and use all your clues on everyone to see how they react. Might require a second playthough if you miss some clues early on. Pretty standard completion; 5/7.

Great story to play thorough, over an afternoon. The achievements are a checklist of available content in the game, and might take a little bit of back-tracking to set up; save often, and it wont be an issue.
Great story with a twist that slowly reveals itself as you play. 7/7; would recommend.

Goofy looking, but playable. The mechanics are solid, the task list is there, its just about putting in the time to grind it out. Should take around 6-8 hours depending on how intense you play. The achievements will require two playthroughs. After the first, a prestige mode doubles the money earned, to speed through the second playthough.
None of the achievements were bugged, everything worked smoothly, no crashes, and the game felt balanced, but the second playthrough, after clearing an entire map of trees and stones, just felt like a lazy attempt to draw out playtime; despite being a much faster completion time for the second playthough. Easily doable in a day; 5/7.

A great, well-told story, by a developper that was still allowed to care for its' games. 7/7; would experience again. Recommended to anyone looking for a 100% achievement list in a couple of weekends, while enjoying a polished game that feels like it's worth the time investment.

This game brings you along the story of Robert Robertson, a "super"hero who doesnt really have powers, or a super suit. But, he knows what it takes to be a hero, and he is tasked with training and developing a bunch of super-villain-recruits to make them into superheros.

Over eight episodes you get to sit back and relax with some campy story-telling, sprinkled in with a little degeneracy; a medium amount of degeneracy. Solid 6/7.

In my opinion: it's not worth it. 2/7; avoid this part of the Mafia franchise.
A mediocre story, a dissapointing ending, and a feeling of uselessness during hours of grinding, is about the most this game can offer you. The point of this game, if any, would be to give some background into some no-name hitmen, who were an afterthought, at the end of the first game.

In total, the campaign me took about 22 hours to complete, and the DLC, which contains about 3-4 hours of content, could take about 30-40 hours to complete depending on how you do your grinding.
For the campaign, I originally felt as though it was worth-while to play through, just to find out what happens at the end of the story... but even that, leaves you feeling used, and your time not well-spent. As-in I'd be better off, skipping this game in the Mafia franchise. There's no closure, these characters mean nothing, the story builds into nothing, nothing you obtain is permanent, and you lose nothing for skipping it.

The story is bland, and passive, as though the "main campaign story" is just there as a way to poorly fill in missing content, in some imaginary timeline. Notifying you with chapter intro screens that you're now playing in 19XX year, now; skipping content that could be there., and it genuinely feels like a side-task between content.
The grinds were mangeable for the main story, and the collectibles were tedious, but doable; even the difficulty wasn't too bad to deal with. But nothing really prepared me for completing the achievements in the DLC. Hours upon hours of grinding up miles on a car, or mission-kills, grinding away at such high numbers after playing a story with no closure, kind of felt like just milking the cow for playtime.
