absolutely wonderful game. brilliant soundtrack, had a large, completely free expansion. i sunk a crazy amount of time into it after buying it on Amazon over a decade ago, and i still come back to it, play it, and think about it. it's the only game i've bought on two different platforms. play this game !!!!!!!!!!!!

this game is really brilliant. not to get on my soap box too tall, but soulless, corporate, profit-driven triple A development teams and studios fail to recognize this is what people actually want from video games. the sound design is absolutely wonderful as well. please buy this and support studios actually putting out games that aren't focus group driven dredge.

a recent update has added a car that is paid DLC only that is significantly faster than any other option available in S2, especially on togue, which is really the only multiplayer game mode worth playing. i can no longer recommend the game due to this reason, as i can only foresee this issue getting worse and worse as more and more DLC come out. shame, really. this is a fun game but it can ♥♥♥♥ right off of my currently playing list if they feel like introducing P2W mechanics.

was worried it'd feel dull or too similar to sts1 but nah, they cooked with this one. you can tell that it has the same exact passion and care that sts1 had - even the returning characters have been made to feel fresh.

absolutely flooded with cheaters atm. do not recommend playing until this is fixed.

currently, non-cheating focused programs like recording software can be used to see through walls using filters. the amount of people obviously walling in all 3 main game modes is staggering, and those are just the ones that are obvious. i'm sure the number is far higher (and it really feels like it currently).

siege has always had an issue with this but this is the worst it's ever been by far, coming from someone that's played since 2015. avoid until fixed.

i hate to advocate for a more invasive anti-cheat, but there's a reason league and valorant have such a small population of hackers, and why GTA V Enchanced got rid of modders almost completely from being one of the most notoriously modder-heavy games. it improves these games massively and is becoming a necessity more and more.

new UI is absolutely terrible. if it's not broke don't try to fix it!!!!!!!!!!! game is fine but ruining the UI for no reason is just so baffling and so many of these companies do it

the devs freaking rock. the game is really fun, but man, THIS is how you're supposed to develop a game.

isn't just another indie roguelite - it's probably one of the best roguelites, period. amazing both solo and co-op, with plenty of replay value and fantastic gameplay.

i've tried to play and love this game for years but i'm now exhausted of the issues with it. i highly recommend against sinking time into this game. it is maintained extremely poorly. timelines are unfathomably long. things that worked for years will break, and due to the lack of an actual development team, they won't get fixed, either ever or maybe in a year+. moderation feels non-existent outside of people being banned later for saying slurs. zero protections or 18+ verification despite allowing the hosting of 18+ content in condos. cheaters aren't taken off leaderboards despite reports. many leaderboards never refreshed despite obvious macroing/glitches/changes that make the same scores impossible. glitches that haven't been patched in years that make competitive scores meaningless.

i've met some fantastic people on this game, which is the only true reason i'll still hop on from time to time. however, on the opposite side of the coin, this game attracts some of the worst of the worst. the block feature is not adequate - people can still interact with your character and know where you're going. i've been followed, harassed, sexually solicited, given threats, etc., then see those same people playing a year later doing the same ♥♥♥♥. i'm over it. i'm over the constant political or otherwise arguments that go unmoderated in the global chat, which was a horrific feature to re-introduce into the game due to the lack of active moderation.

hiring a real group of developers and moderators would do this game absolute wonders. until then, don't waste your time.
