Jokes aside... Its a great game and "can" be fun and it is but sometimes the grind just becomes a chore but its not that bad. I would say the only ruining factor is the playerbase itself and no not those who still actively playing it but the ones that left the game and talked smack about it. Sure there are things that needs changing also lacks the proper tutorial and the game barely explains what is your goal what you need to work towards and this is something needs to be addressed ASAP... i mean... like right freakin now because oh boy.... 200hrs in and still scratching my head sometimes what is what,not to mention the mod and gear system is just all over the place! But yea other than that its a good game. Sure if you looking for a good story then this game not gonna be your cup of tea,the dialogues are attrocious and boring,your own character is silent and doing weird random animations when you talk to an NPC. Mmmmmm... Hmmmm.... what else? ehhh.. nothing! Just enjoy the damn game and shut yo b azz up. :3

I think its about time to do this review even tho i only have 24hrs played as we speak.

I have over 2k hours "Not Steam!" on Dying Light 1 So my review is based on the game that made the series blow up "No not talking about you Dying Light 2 you are a disgrace"

For positives: Yes the story is "Finally" good and make sense now and its good to see characters from the other games but unfortunately only one of them actually plays some meaningful role in the beast as for Spike... oh well RIP i guess!
The graphics,physics and all the new implementations are great but! Here is my take on this which is gonna be the negative part.... I dont know about you but in Dying Light 1 (Yes i know Crane is now 13years older but thats not an excuse) the parkour feels snappy and responsive you always feel like you just flying! But in the Beast??? Ohh man... Its just not fun... Its sluggish,cluncky,unresponsive it almost feels like Crane turned into a pensioner... You might say its a skill issue but i say ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥! Sure the parkour has a skill ceiling now especially since Dying Light 2 introduced the new grapling hook mechanics which is more like a dangling rope instead of a grapling hook. Yea sure i get it the "Realism" while you can still drop down 30meters on the concrete and get little to no fall damage so dont come with the bs that the grapling hook needs to be realistic. Dont get me started on the zombies,virals stunning the living ♥♥♥♥ out of you for some reason,biters latch on to you from 10meters away ruining your momentum and on top of that if you get hit from behind Crane all of a sudden forgets how to jump,run or do anything meaningful. So yeah... apart from this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the game is great but it doesnt feel like anything what we all experienced in the first game. I understand that not every game can be the same but in the same time i dont think that is the good direction Techland takes. There also some QOL that can be addressed like the survival sense loot reveal range is short also the loot highlight is barely visible also the pickup prompt small af etc etc etc... but these are things that mods can fix "Good lord imagine if a game had no modding community!" Anyway enough yapping... Kudos to Techland that they actually listening to their playerbase now and actually made a much better game with the Beast compared to DL2 but... there are still room for improvement.

when i first and last played this game i had to gather all my friends to play it and i can tell ya now i am just started playing dead by daylight about 2months ago and white noise is pretty much just like dbd but more fun and perfectly balanced compared to dbd!
