I didn't enjoy Hades that much. However, powering up your turtles, fighting through portals and trying different builds brought some fun to the table.

What else do you need on the table? That's right, pizza! And what's better than pizza? More pizza!

The game is not trying to deliver a fun experience for the player whatsoever. It deliberately uses the well known third-person cover shooter mechanics, but just to emphasize how ludicrous they are in comparison to the brutal reality of war.
