Initial learning curve is steep, but has gotten better over the past couple years. The game is worth the time investment though!

The gameplay is excellent, with an exceptional movement system. The story kicks into high gear in the main quest called "The Second Dream", and only gets better and better from there. If you want to try out the game, give yourself until The Second Dream until you make your judgment. Don't look anything up, just play.

*ALL*, I repeat, *ALL* content in the game is free. All gear and currency is farmable in-game - even the premium currency. The only thing you actually *have* to pay real money for (if you want), are the cosmetics from the TennoGen program - and this is because those items are made by actual players, and part of a revenue-share program where money goes directly to the artist.

The game looks gorgeous, can run on a toaster, and has cross-platform play. Across all consoles, iOS and Android. You're never far away from Warframe.

Early Access Review
I have played this both on my desktop PC and my Steam Deck.

Beautiful game so far, and extremely polished for an early access title. On the Deck, graphics settings seem to be locked to a specific configuration, but that config runs very well at a steady 60 fps. On the desktop, you get to customize settings a lot more.

Performance aside, this is a really good game so far. Crisp graphics, solid mechanics, and a good mix between guided content and "do what you want".

Otherwise, it seems like a typical life/farming sim, just done very very well. Recommended!

Ever since Subnautica, I have been forever searching for games that have the same kind of vibe. That mix of story, exploration, crafting and style that it had.

Forever Skies comes really close. Building your airship is fun and lets you be pretty creative. Exploring the world-that-was is really cool for the first 2/3rds of the game.

My only two gripes are the lack of location diversity (which has been worked on, and is being worked on), and then the pacing in the later part of the game. By the time you get all the research you want to fully build your airship, the game is almost overr, and there's no real reason to actually build it.

Pacing issues aside, the game is still well worth playing, and presents a pretty interesting story and approach to survival/crafting.

I own this game and bought all the DLC for it when they released. Now they have taken them away, and are trying to force me to buy their "relaunch" for 40 Euro.

Absolutely not. I suggest the developers go for a stroll on the surface of mars. With no helmet.

Fantastic game that really encourages multiple playthroughs. One of the best games I've played in years.

Short but sweet game. Petting the cat is a legitimate money making tactic.

Great sequel to the original. Smaller in scope, but much more dense, and has a ton of quality of life improvements.

The revamped storyline was great too, and I can't wait to see what this team does next.

Fantastic visuals, sound, music, gameplay and story. Had a few performance issues, but those seem to have been patched out.

This game is such a good experience to play. Can highly recommend!

This game was created by a tiny team, and what they managed to accomplish is pretty amazing.

It's far from a perfect game, with especially the controls being very janky (mostly in vehicle and lockpicking sections).

However, the game has a good story, strong visual design (with ok character models, and great environments), good characters and pretty good acting. The story also doesn't outstay its welcome - While I would have liked a bit more "lore" in the game, what it has is sufficient for a satisfying story.

If you can live with the janky controls, I would recommend this for the story.

This was a good game. Holy crap, have I missed good single player Star Wars games.
