Definitely game of the year material. Brutal but rewarding difficulty, beautiful and elaborate vistas, an enthralling adventure through and through; I can easily say this has quickly become one of my favorite games of all time. The lore is very deep; par for the course of FromSoft games where the lore may not be blatant but can easily be uncovered by items and from some of the best 'show not tell' environmental queues I've experienced.

If you enjoy open world games that do not hold your hand, are challenging, and you can easily get lost in, definitely pick this up.
