how can I change the text display language to English? Everything is showing for me in Japanese currently

Currently early in (about an hour) and I'm not getting the same feel as I did from the previous game. Does it just have a slow start? Combat kinda feels worse somehow. No back attacks?

Logy and Escha stay together? I just got my first ending with Lucille. It only gave me an option for her and Linca though. Is there something I missed? I was assuming i was gonna go with logy to the city smh

The game said stuff like skills, equipment, and inventory from the last playthrough but I don't see them.
