Today we are excited to officially announce our next game: Bloom Control!

Bloom Control is a fast action upgrade game where you play an AI tasked with eradicating the mysterious Bloom from infested space stations, corrupted cities, and contaminated planets by seizing control of their emergency defense systems.

Bloom Control is our take on the incremental genre. Have you ever played an incremental game and thought, "This is cool, but it feels like there's potential for so much more?" We certainly have!

We adore the unfolding surprises of games like A Dark Room and enjoy the escalating craziness of games like Keep on Mining, and if these could be wrapped in arcadey goodness like Astro Prospector, well, that would be a dream!

Layer in the depth of interacting systems, visceral gameplay, and polished aesthetics that you know and love in Reality Break (and with heavy inspiration from Housemarque), and you'll start to get an idea of our goals for Bloom Control.

The demo is out TODAY and we hope you'll check it out and leave us your feedback! The full game will launch in 2027, which gives us plenty of time to fine tune the core gameplay as well as bring the additional content and systems that we have planned to life. We have already received some great feedback from early, closed playtests that has made the demo better, and we can't wait for more!

P.S. What Does This Mean for Reality Break?

For those of you who have been following our Reality Break activities over the last month, you'll know we have a free update for all players planned, as well as an update for Ship Types DLC. That isn't changing! This also does not rule out other future development for Reality Break, we just have a lot of cool game ideas we want to work on!
