Hey,

EarthX 2 launches today in Early Access! We literally don't have anything else to say anymore, except to wish you LOTS of fun tonight!

A pre-launch stream will start ~15 minutes before game launch, so come join if you're interested what changes there are compared to Open Alpha and EarthX 1 :)

If you still didn't, wishlist the game here on Steam; Gabe's email server will then remind you about the release :)

The time has come. The time is now. Now is the time. what?

Yes yes delays bad devs sratatata but now finally we are all in the present moment and we can enjoy how well the game has turned out.

Because, buying EarthX 2 isn't just like buying other games.

Buying EarthX 2 is buying your present and future happiness, exclusive soundtrack made by MELOKHROMA which will be released as an amazing space album later this year, and of course, this cool little game made by nerds, designed to make space topics easy to understand for everyone :D

We concluded many community tests, including an open alpha in September. We wanted to get the basic things right.

So quite literally, this project will be a result of uncountable tears.

[c].........will be? but the game is already here bro[/c]

Yes.

Early Access is here.

We got the fundamentals of EarthX 2 right. Basically EarthX (1) on really strong steroids. And the next development phase starts now.

[c]You give feedback -> we combine it with our own plans -> game update -> repeat; [/c]

And we don't really want to disclose our plans... This will take away some of your future happiness and make me a liar.

I included a few short previews at the end of Early Access trailer on YT - if you REALLY wanna know :P

ok ok, you're not sentimental blah blah feelings, who cares? You don't really care who made the game, where and why.

You just want a good game.

So tell me...

EarthX 2 is a tycoon game about running your own space company. Start with a launch pad, take on contracts, and grow your operation until you're sending crews and cargo to the Moon and Mars.

Manufacture rockets, orbiters, capsules, and ships. Choose the right vehicle for each payload, assemble compatible launch configurations, and prepare the infrastructure for your missions. Expand your factories to keep up with demand, balance production and spending, and decide which contracts to take on next.

Deliver satellites, resupply the International Space Station, transport crews, and send scientific missions into deep space. Some customers have unusual ideas about what belongs in orbit.

Bring your vehicles home, service them, and get them ready for another mission. Unlock new recovery methods, track each craft's condition and flight history, and give your favorite rocket a nickname.

Follow launches, stage separations, and landings through in-game webcasts with flight telemetry. Try helicopter catches, propulsive landings, docking, and more in training simulations.

Build LinkLink, your own satellite internet service. Manufacture routers and satellites, expand your constellation, and support it with ground relays. Manage coverage, bandwidth, and subscription prices to earn a steady income.

As your company grows, automate routine work with production targets and scheduled vehicle programs. Save launch presets for missions you fly often, so you can spend more time planning your next project.

Transport people and cargo, build housing, and keep your colonies supplied with power, water, oxygen, and food. Set up mining and manufacturing to produce materials locally. Shipments take time, so plan your storage and production to last between deliveries.

Build orbital infrastructure, coordinate refueling, and plan flights around planetary transfer windows. On Mars, work toward terraforming and watch the planet change.

Follow objectives in career mode or explore in sandbox. Reach milestones to unlock new vehicles, buildings, destinations, and capabilities.

Along the way, follow news stories, encounter mission events, and see how people react to your successes and failures.
