I really like the game and recommend it when on sale. It's one of the most thorough production games I've seen. Seemingly hundreds of things to gather, produce, or trade for.

My main feedback is that the game is about 90% finished, but with quite a few bugs and imbalances. For example, when making whiskey for my village of 300 people I find after 15 wineries I still can't maintain stock, so I end up making disproportionately huge investments into mills and wineries. The devs no longer support the game and it is what it is, but I still find it's worth the investment for the hardcore city and settlement building fan.

If you look at the store screenshots, you will see the portraits are drawn a bit like Stardew Valley. When you get in game, you will get the most obvious AI slop instead.

-The UI is incomprehensible and I can only navigate it thanks to it having played basically every game in this genre
-You get essentially no workers at the start of the game which is an issue because you can't get the ressources required to sustain your 20 people with just 20 people, and you only get new people by getting children, which can't work, which means you will essentially get 10 more mouths to feed without getting more workers. It might get better as you get more people but it's really unbearable sitting through 5 years of the game on 10x doing absolutely nothing waiting for the kids to grow.
-Everything in your town has durability. Your worker's tools, clothes, the buildings, everything needs to be replaced and repaired.
-I can't even imagine how bad this game would be in combat mode, which adds random attacks to the list of disasters that can break everything you built.

Lots of things to do, great sim to relax to. Simple gameplay and graphics.
