Announcing Isle Goblin's First Open Playtest

After 3 years of development, I'm finally ready to go from closed to open playtesting, which means it's time to start harassing some humans in Isle Goblin! Go it solo or grab up to 7 of your pals and head on over to the Steam store page to take part. No purchases, strings attached, or blood sacrifices necessary.

As you get to grips with the game and become the goblin you were always meant to be, you can submit your feedback via the official feedback form[docs.google.com]. This will give me an idea of what you like, what you love, what needs improvement, and what totally stinks. Data is power for a guy like me and I'll be using all your feedback to make the game something you'd be proud to see in your Steam library.

Just a heads up, there are a limited number of spaces for the open playtest. The overlords at Fireshine (my publisher!) have decreed that when we reach this cap, we might still be able to let people in if they've expressed an interest in joining future playtests via this sign up form[fireshinegames.online], so I'd recommend signing up!

You might also spot a new role available that leads to some new spaces in the community Discord[discord.gg] where you can chat about the playtest and share suggestions for things you'd like to see in the game. I can't guarantee I'll add everything in, but some of you have to have cool ideas I can steal bring to life, right?

The playtest will likely run for 2 weeks, but I'd be open to extending it depending on how it goes...and I think that's just about everything I'm s'posed to tell you for now!

Isle Goblin in the Triple-i Initiative on October 8th!

What's up, goblins? There's some cool stuff coming your way in the Triple-i Initiative that I'm desperate to share with you all right now, but I have been sworn to secrecy 🤫

If you wanna find out, you'll have to tune in to the show on October 8th at 9am PDT/6pm CEST for 45 mins of back-to-back game trailers (and no ads, whoohoo!).

Hold your horses before you get all Sherlock Holmes on me and deduce that there'll likely be an Isle Goblin trailer in the 45-minute trailer showcase. We sure might have a trailer coming your way but that's not the only thing you've got to look forward to from Isle Goblin in the Triple-i Initiative!

Isle Goblin is Partnering with Pocketpair & Fireshine Games (and we’re at TGS!)

If you’d have told me a year ago that I’d be partnering with the publishers behind Pal World and Core Keeper, AND I'd have a playable demo of my game at the Tokyo Game Show, I’d have laughed in your face…but here we are!

I’ve been working with Fireshine for a little while now, and I’m super psyched to announce that Pocketpair is going to be the co-publisher for Isle Goblin in Asia. We’re kicking off this awesome partnership with an Isle Goblin demo, playable at the Pocketpair booth at the Tokyo Game Show from today all the way to the 21st of September. Oh, and we’ve even got some Isle Goblin merch up for grabs!

I’ve been working hard on implementing feedback and bug fixes from our playtest, and things are shaping up real nice. The Isle Goblin community is so awesome and I just wanna say a huge thanks for all your support. When you’re an indie dev working on a passion project, there’s really no telling what direction it’ll go in, whether folks will like it, whether you’ll sign with a publisher. The fact that I’m technically signed with two right now is a dream come true and I couldn’t have done it without you.

ending or endings?

idk if this has been spoken about but will there be a linear ending or will there be more than one? or one ending with different variations based on our play through? thank you!
