Cannot connect

I just picked this software up (had been on my wishlist and I just got the notification within the last couple of weeks that it was at release state) and I cannot get it to connect to my android phone for the life of me. When I attempt to do it through the wizard, it simply fails to connect (though it SEES the pc). I've tried scanning the QR code and manually entering in the IP address at different attempts, just to have it endlessly attempt to connect. I've confirmed they're connected to the same network...

Steam Frame Verified - NotiVR 1.1

Our 1.1 is exclusively focused on Steam Frame support. We've put a ton of effort into ensuring NotiVR works well with Valve's new shiny hardware, we're please to report that NotiVR is now Steam Frame Standalone Verified!

Cool, what does that mean?

It means that as soon as the Steam Frame starts shipping you can just install NotiVR on your headset, pair your phone, and have full notification syncing from both Android and iOS devices without needing a connected PC!

We have full feature parity across the PC and Frame versions. Just like on the PC version your Android or iOS device will connect directly to your headset and mirror your phone notifications into VR.

Stay in sync

NotiVR has supported Steam Cloud for managing your settings since the early versions, and with 1.0 we added Steam Workshop support via NotiVR Packs. Meaning all of your customisations and subscribed packs will stay in sync between your Frame and your PC.

Future updates

In addition to getting the actual NotiVR app running on the Frame, we're updating the NotiVR mobile apps to allow for better handling of connecting to multiple devices (more details to come soon)

Since Steam Frame runs on Linux we had to port the app to Linux. While our focus has been on the Steam Frame there has been some work on the x86 version too. This is shipping today alongside the arm build in an experimental capacity for our Linux PCVR users.

Failed to connect error

Hello ! I'm having an issue with the software and the app I'm getting an error on my phone app that says : Network Error : Failed to connect to / 192.168.X.XX:XXXXX It only worked one time at the first setup and when i restarted the next day it stopped working. Is there a solution for this problem ? Have a good day ! (Please excuse my english it's not my native language)...

Work with XSOverlay notifcations?

So i dont know if you have ever used XSOverlay but they recently (a few months back) got a very nice and smooth notification system that has nice popups n stuff. So i was wondering if it would be possible to request a feature for this to hook onto that? https://store.steampowered.com/app/1173510/XSOverlay/ Ive seen multiple other apps do it so im pretty sure its possible! For an app like this, I would like to know if this is a local server process vs one that routes pretty much any and all of my phone's notifications (and any replies that I send) through 3rd party servers. For instance, would this application continue to function if I were to fully block any "internet facing" traffic generated by it while leaving local traffic alone? Does the desktop app and the phone need to be on her same network to function? If not.. That would suggest that all data is moving through a...
