Originally i didn't have enough money to buy this game and so i pirated it.

I played trough it many times, eventually reaching a point where i had 93/131 achievements.

It was incredibly engaging and fun to explore all the various paths, even trying to figure out all the different "memories" for all the different princeses was incredibly fun.

Because i had so much fun i decided to buy it properly and even buy merch. So while i did buy it just before it went on sale for 60% off, i don't regret it. Black Tabby Games deserves the money.

This is the first game, that i loved enough to actually buy the offical game after beating it on the pirated version and that should speak volumes on how good it is.

Even just going back and replaying it fully on the legit version is still fun, so i recomend you buy it.

if there is one thing i can suggest to anyone buying it and enjoying it its this: Do not go on the wiki or look up any guides on how to find specific princeses or memories in the princesses. Some were less intuitive to find than others, but i think i would have felt prouder and would have had even more fun had i not just looked it up.

Interesting narrative, but it only works when the player is deeply attached to the characters, genuinely feels for them, so they ponder all the choices and get shocked by consequences that don’t line up with their expectations. Unfortunately I’m not that player. This is not a love story for me, so instead it becomes a forced perspective. But can I really reject it, as one of the options suggests?
Objectively, I can still recognise the good parts, the music and beautifully hand-drawn art do create a certain atmosphere. One playthrough is rather short, so you can go through everything again very quickly. But honestly, I only enjoyed the part where I met the shifting mound for the first time and reached the true beginning of this game. Everything else discussed was really, really not that profound.

Some stories end, but the feelings they leave behind remain
