Version 0.9.13 - Minor fixes

Nov 5

Runs in progress stay valid. Everyone in a co-op room needs 0.9.13.

Runs

Fixed continuing a run in a freshly started game after you saved and exited following an act boss, before the next act began. The next act did not load properly: you got a screen with no map, and saving again could end the run as a victory after only two bosses. The run now continues into the next act

Cards

A card you press while the previous card is still playing is now played right after it, instead of being ignored. This works for cards that need a target too: click or drag them at once and the play follows. Up to three presses wait, and they are dropped after 3 seconds or when your turn ends
Fixed a rare case where one press could play a card twice

Co-op

Fixed two rare errors in co-op fights: a ping on another player's card after the fight was over, and the camera key in a fight the host had left

If you cannot find your friend's room, restart Steam or the game so it updates: rooms are only visible between players on the same version.

If something goes wrong, the feedback button in the game sends us the details we need. Thank you for playing and for every report.

Does the game save during a run???

I did not see this option in the game. If this is not then I feel this will seriously hurt the playability of the game. If this feature going to be added in the future?

Multiplayer Unlocks

I primarily play these games multiplayer, and with this one being designed for multiplayer it's odd that unlock progress doesn't work on multiplayer play. It would be nice if that was changed.

Version 0.9.12 - Occultist pile cards fix and a co-op turn fix

Nov 2

Runs in progress stay valid. Everyone in a co-op room needs 0.9.12.

Cards

Fixed the Occultist's Purge, Transmundane and Hindsight (and their + versions) when Regained Loss is active: the card you picked from a pile could stay in it while another card was removed, and in some cases the card play never finished, so End Turn did nothing (in a co-op room everyone then waited for ever)

Co-op

A player who misses the turn order message now keeps the order they worked out themselves instead of applying an old one. Before, a lost message could leave one player a round ahead of the others, and the fight stalled

Thank you for playing and for every report.

Version 0.9.11 - clearer co-op choice panels and card lists & few small fixes

Oct 29

Runs in progress stay valid. Everyone in a co-op room needs 0.9.11.

Co-op

When another player has to answer a choice panel (the Pickwick Demon's), your screen now says who is choosing ("Waiting for <name> to choose"); before, its buttons were greyed with no explanation
The deck and pile buttons are greyed while a card list that needs an answer is open (a rest site upgrade or remove pick). Pressing one used to make the owner's Cancel close only the owner's screen and leave the other players' copy of the list open
Pressing Confirm or Cancel twice in a row on the card upgrade preview no longer makes the next upgrade preview answer itself

Fixes

Fixed an error that could appear in fights after leaving with Save & Exit while a damage or heal number was still on screen, and the same kind of timed effect on the map and end screens
The shop's remove card list no longer shows a Show Upgrades box that did nothing

Game stuck at end of spider fight.

I have only tried this once so far, but I defeated a fw spiders in battle. At the end of said fight, one of the spiders still had a healthbar disaplying 0 health remaining out of 70+, and the combat didnt auto end. I could still end turn, but after that I had no choice but to save and esit to retry the combat....

[ feedback ] some enemies get too much strength too fast/easily

There's been a couple fights now where enemy strength is too impossibly high to deal with. One was a bunch of bats that when one was killed, the rest gained 15 strength and they spawned in a group of 6. If you kill one, the other five go from doing 3 damage each to 18. That's 6 times more damage for 5 enemies, meaning that there may as well be 30 more enemies on the field after killing one. I get that you're supposed to get them all low and then finish them all off, but it's still a very steep penalty fo...

Bug: Desync

Whenever we reload an ongoing run (either due to someone disconnecting or being done for the night) and we use the cards that let you look at the first few cards of the deck (like vision) or put cards on top of the deck (like deflect) one of us always gets stuck on the "pick card to put on top of deck" screen and everyone gets desynced once it becomes that player's turn. This is very consistent for us and kinda breaking the whole game if we dont completely avoid using that type of mechanic. Please fix this...

Seems to have come a long way. Played the new version (0.9.11) and it looks much better than I remembered it and didn't have desynchs. Great underrated game IMO.
