This is a great remaster of the first three games in one of the most influential video game series. I wouldn’t call myself a "veteran" - I only played through these classics for the first time six years ago - but I thoroughly enjoyed them, and most left a strong impression on me. While this edition features numerous improvements and refinements, the core level design and gameplay remain virtually unchanged. For newcomers, I highly recommend using the modern control scheme, though I suggest taking the time to learn all its features beforehand, as the game itself doesn’t explain them in sufficient detail. It’s not without its flaws, but if you want to experience the origins of a truly revolutionary series, this is the best way to do it.

Pros:
A lot of content, including all official expansions plus a challenge mode.
Great optimization, faithfully upgraded visuals, and an art style that preserves the atmosphere of the originals.
Some great additions like modern controls, photo mode, and a lot of fun achievements.

Cons:
Some texture quality feels like AI work.
Not enough options and badly explained modern controls.

There's a mod that allows you to use the d-pad for tank controls while keeping modern controls on the analogue sticks. It's essential and makes the game really fun once you have it.

Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Starring Lara Croft is a complete modern remaster of the original Playstation games. An expansion pack subtitled Unfinished Business was released in 1998, containing new standalone levels. Tomb Raider 2 came out in 1997. Tomb Raider 3 came out in 1999.

You need a controller for this game such as my Xbox carbon black. The game does not support the keyboard and mouse properly. This remastered game is also available on the Playstation. Played this on my Lenovo P15 with UHD 630 graphics and Quadro T1000 graphics. Game is very playable even at 4K UHD.
