It's good. Works out of the box on Linux. It's a native port (no emulation). Textures and models look exactly the same as the PS3 version but the game does look overall better due to higher resolution support and stable framerate - albeit locked at 60.

As for the game - well it's MGS4. Some love it, some hate it. Great gameplay, cheesy dialogue, a million retcons and hours and hours of cutscenes. Play it and form your own opinion.

EDIT: Some people have concerns whether Apple stuff is still there: it's there, the iPod and all of the music is there, the MacBooks are there etc. etc.

Absolutely epic, runs butter smooth and looks great right out of the box on steam deck. Highly recommend this one. Peak MGS.
