How could I make a game without my cat Lily in it...

Employee of the Month! 🏆

Looking at the current progress, I think I might actually be able to finish the game this year. Of course, there is always something that can be improved in a project, but this game has already been in development for around 2 years (if not longer). So I really want to finally release it and be able to peacefully play GTA 6 :D

My wishlist growth has slowed down because over the last few months I have spent almost all of my time working on the game itself. This meant fewer reels, shorts, and posts... I know I should probably focus more on that too, so I’ll try to get back into it...

The game is being translated into different languages. By the way, if you know anyone who speaks Japanese or German, please let me know...:)

Right now I’m working on the ending of the game, and it’s almost finished. I think in about a month I’ll start doing some small playtests of the full version.

Cant Accelerate, both keyboard and controller

Menu is stuck pressing down constantly when making selections. This occurs with or without keyboard/controller plugged in. In game, car can only reverse or turn. Unplayable at this point.

June 2026 Update: Baltic Showcase, New Mechanics & 70% Complete!

Hey everyone!

First things first: We are officially taking part in the Baltic Showcase 2026 (June 15 – June 22)! As a solo dev, any support from you means the absolute world to me right now. If you have a moment, please check it out! :)

The game is now roughly 70–75% complete. Right now, I’m fully focused on packing the world with content, crafting varied missions, and polishing the overall experience.

Explore a Expanding World

The final game will feature 4 Chapters, each packed with around 10–15 unique locations. You won't just be exploring the boy’s house; your journey will take you through the town, a restaurant, warehouses, a park, a cemetery, a construction site, underground tunnels, a school, a wake park, and more! I’m putting a lot of love into making sure every single area is rewarding and fun to explore.

Upgrades, Customization, & Fresh Mechanics

Pimp Your Ride: You can now customize your RC car with various stickers and items - like a banana sticker or custom license plates!
New Shop Items: The shop has been expanded with new upgrades, including a motor boost and a highly requested First-Person Camera mode.
Gadgets & Traps: We’ve added a Magnet to pull in stars, and a Mousetrap that you can use as a springboard to launch yourself into the air.
Battery Mechanic: Keep an eye on your power! Your batteries will occasionally run low, forcing you to hunt for spares to keep moving.

Pieces of the Puzzle (and 90s Nostalgia!)

I've decided to scatter a ton of hidden hints throughout the game. These clues will help you piece together exactly what happened to the boy. Some of these items are bound to hit you with a massive wave of nostalgia - keep your eyes peeled for things like Pogs (caps), retro gaming consoles, and other vintage gems.

Objective Tracker: I’ve added a task list at the top of the screen so you’ll always have a clear idea of what your next goal is.

Development is in full swing, and we are continuing to push the game forward step by step. We have been working on new content, improving the atmosphere, and polishing different parts of the experience.

Too difficult

I tried the demo initially when there was only one camera setting. After five minutes I quit reluctantly. I really love the idea of the game and I very much enjoyed the beautiful and detailed surroundings. So when I read there were better camera options I gave it another go. I still found the driving very finicky and needed many many tries to maneuver the car just right. But I enjoyed the first few rooms. However, the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ vacuum cleaner ended the fun for me, I never got past this thing....

Driving should be more enjoyable in a driving game!

Good start but the driving is not very good! Not sure if you can upgrade your grip or something later but the way the car just understeers so much is not fun. Also I am sure it would be much more enjoyable with a behind-the-car camera

My experience and Feedback

Kudos to the Dev!! I really liked the concept, the mood, and the experience. The story of my missing boy reminds me of Toy Story, but from the perspective of a little car. Exploring the levels is rewarding, and there are plenty of interesting details and things to try. The driving is fun, although it feels a bit understeery, and the car turns more easily in reverse than moving forward, which is a bit odd. In the beginning, in the backyard, it took me a while to realize there was a bridge that I had to cr...
