Except Graphics and first few easy matches, I liked nothing. Not even Manager/Player career.

I am leaving Thumps Up only because Graphics & color-tuning were amazing even on low settings, few matches I played on amateur difficulty were very fun, plus I got this on hefty discount over such low base price. This game is so fleshed out that I got overwhelmed with so many options in main menu. Totally confused. Most of my time were spent in understanding them and doing practice lessons to understand the game basics.

First of all, there is absolutely NO story. There is no definitive ending in any career mode you play. You might like it but I didn't. It was basically Player or Manager simulator.. with few matches in between...and mostly on menu doing different kind of deals, reading emails, training, investment, etc.

In core football game, on Amateur difficulty, AI was unable to score a single goal. One step up, Semi-pro difficulty, and I was unable to score a single goal! 🗿 Don't say git gud or something. I know if I spend 50-100s of hours like every fifa fan I'm gonna git gud! I am just not willing to spend so much time on a game that didn't interest me enough. I did enjoy my time in former difficulty option but without any clear progression or story, I don't see why I should be playing this than 100s of games in my backlog library.

If you were in same boat as me, but did enjoy it.. do let me know in comments. I might reconsider down the line.

• Magnificent work has been done to the game and finally I can enjoy the career mode, but it still has gaps and lacks game design due to the developers' laziness and lack of imagination.
  
  
• Most players prefer career mode, so do some work on that! Make player career playable, including for goalkeepers.I am also worried about bugs and the fact that the game just freezes after a match, and it is not because of the hardware.
  
  
• There are also visual bugs and very dumb AI. Players do not make obvious passes and miss opportunities that real football players would not miss.I am dissatisfied, but I continue to play because there is literally no competition. Damn you, EA...
