Resident Evil: Requiem features two characters, Leon and Grace. You get to choose which perspectives you want to play with each character. One version of the game is slow, frightening and terrifying while the other is fast paced and panicky. As the game progresses, horror and action are divided. Requiem feels like two different games stuck together and they work well with one another.

Fantastic game. RE7 was a return to form for a new age. RE8 proved that it wasn't a fluke. RE9 was the culmination of the best parts of everything good that came before in terms of stealth horror and action. Strictly speaking of what the game is. Gameplay was smooth, UI not to overwhelming, and easy to learn mechanics. There's some room for experimentation, but you still have to remember what the game is asking of you. Milage may vary depending if you like Action over Stealth/horror and vice versa. If you like both, the game will feel complete, if you like one over the other, then you may feel like you're being forced to eat you vegetables.

One of the easiest recommends of my life.

Pros:
- Gameplay and how it changes with Grace and Leon. Grace is like playing RE2 Remake, while Leon is like playing RE4 Remake, with both gameplay loops being expanded upon since the respective games. Despite Grace being a more slow paced experience, it's still just as fun as playing Leon.
- Everything looks so slick in this game
- Angela Sant'Albano. Her performance in this game is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good, I legit was scared that they were siccing Umbrella G-virus infested zombies on her in real life to record the lines.
- Goofy Leon one-liners

Cons:
- Too much switching between two characters in the beginning that made the pace a bit wonky
- Story is whatever (but let's be real, we don't play RE for story)

The game is also quite short. You can realistically finish it in ~10 hours, but it's all killer no filler. One of the best games this year
