If you liked the Maze Runner movies, this is pretty much that exact concept in game form. You're dropped into this giant maze and have to figure out a way out before everything goes south.

You start out right in the safe zone at the middle of the maze, scavenging for supplies before heading out to explore. But there's a huge catch at night, the maze doors close up. If you don't make it back to the centre in time, you're locked inside in pitch blackness, trapped with all the monsters hunting you until sunrise.

What makes it so good is how chaotic the layout gets while you're trying to make that run back. The walls actually shift around while you play, so you can't just memorize a path and sprint through. One minute you think you know where you are, and the next you're staring at a dead-end wall while something is chasing you down in the dark.

100% play with friends if you can, it makes the game so much more fun.

Game is a little buggy right now, but the devs are being super fast on fixes so don't let that put you off!

If you've ever seen the movie maze runner and enjoyed it I can hands down promise you'll be a lover for this game. For a game that is early access and has a small team behind such a big build the game loop is good the performance is great and the Ai and overall graphics mixed with the strong background sounds make you really feel immersed in this game. Best of all you can play with up to 6 friends which is probably the games strong point. This game is a lot more fun with friends although I do enjoy playing it solo. If your stuck on the thought of if you want to spend almost $14 USD don't be, it is well worth its price although it may seem as though this is kind of a high price for a game this early access it sure does hold up to its price tag. Not only is it just a horror game that its main focus on scaring is from being lost. And yes the fear of you being in a near endless maze with creatures is scarier then anything else. This game traps you in the idea that your more scared of getting lost then any other creature. But this game also adds base building, defenses, and even basic survival crafting stuff. Overall, as early as this game is I would %100 recommend this to others!
