It's been over a year since I first had the idea of creating my hometown in a survival-horror setting.
I was living in a loop for years, not very far off from the loop in this game. I wanted others to experience, what it feels like living in my hometown and so Mount Noire began brewing in my head and mind.
First, came the loop.. "GET CASH. GET MEDS. GET HOME" and I began creating all these colorful characters, that you could find all around in Mustamäe, around that loop and then I saw the centrepiece - the Mustamäe Suusahüppetorn (Ski Ramp) and I became entranced with it. It helped create a story for this, otherwise very basic game.

Everything in this game came naturally for me, but was then microscopically nitpicked by me to really match the atmosphere of an Estonian apartment bloc town. I could microscopically nitpick this game for years actually, but I feel like I've reached a point with this game, where I'm pleased with everything in this game, how it looks, how it feels, how it seems.

It's not 100% bugfree, but that's not the intention, life isn't 100% bugfree as well. To be honest, there are parts in the game, where I've deliberately put bugs and glitches to have a "creepypasta game" feel, which was the intention from the start. "Creepypastas", "lost media" and "analog horror" have interested me since I was a small kid, long before they even had a definition like that. I've even written a creepypasta about a cursed Facebook account in my younger years lmao.

I'm not sure, why I'm sharing all this, maybe its the meds working haha, anyway, I don't plan to abandon this project now, please write to me for bugs/suggestions/ideas and I'll update Mount Noire every now and then. If all goes well, I am planning to add a multiplayer mode and some other goodies.

Thank you everybody who has Wishlisted, helped me with this project and given me courage to go forward with this! GET GAMING!!!

Aitäh Teile,
Kristjan
