Whats the deal with Floor 9?

Desert tree is maxed aside from the legendary floor 4 fish. Mine tree is maxed and I cleared the 9th challenge. I bred a good skill point fish. I've stayed on top of my fishing and parrot has strong expedition buffs. I feel like I've reached a soft cap of power gains, yet I've barely made any progress grinding stuff at the entrance of the 9th floor. Did the dev forget a power system? Am I missing a power system? Does this floor need all its stats divided by 10? What's the deal here? The rest of th...

Game freezes up after playing a short while

I'm on Linux. Can't really tell what causes it, as it happens at random. It's happened while doing nothing on the bridge, while going through companion tabs (on bridge), while leaving the nest, ... so no clear correlation with actions. I did not get this issue, or notice any slow downs, while using the web version on Firefox. I tried to see if any error logs showed up in the compatdata, but the folder is empty....

More of this type of idle game is needed! And much less of the other garbage sub-3 hour idlers that other developers keep flooding Steam with.

This is an idle game that reminds me of the game IdleOn. It has less multiplayer/community but it has a similar vibe: it has worldwide chat, the art is similar too. Also you have different tasks/mini games that with each evolution can become automated (fishing, cutting trees, fighting...). So it's really a mix between IdleOn vibes and usual idle games as you evolve/ascend and have to start over each times.
I would say the game is enjoyable for the first 15-20 hours then it becomes really tedious to progress (the grind starts with that parrot). But yeah 15 hours of fun for 4 euros is worth it in my book.
It is a semi active idle game meaning you have to make some actions to advance in the game. After 15-20 hours it becomes way more idle as the grind starts.

Dev needs to rebalance the waiting times - I know its an incremental game but there are parts of the game that fly by in seconds like Dave levelling with movement speed BUT THEN the jump from floor 8 to 9 is so big its demotivating. There are a few big milestone that are done is second and then others that just require you to wait. For example the fishing, this progresses really fast through the rods and lures. but then the last 3 rods are purely just a waiting game. You just wait and wait and wait. If the 4th last tier rod takes 1 hour, the next takes 4-5 hours of waiting. Dave and his levelling goes from moderate to HYPER SPEED once you bang all points to movement. The parrot has many levels where its very fast and then suddenly grinds down to a halt and you just literally have to wait - Popcorn, fields, seagulls, Dave, best fish buffs, twigs ALL MAXXXED but you just have to grind this 1 parrot level for literally hours.

Please slow down parts of the game that fly by and speed up the crazy waiting for something to happen.

can't start

Birb needs to reload Unable to continue. Reload to try again from your last save. Removing this game and reinstalling didn't help, verifying local files did not help. I think I might have played the original flash (?) game but I can't remember. This is my first time playing the STEAM game....
