Auto Save Patch

There was an issue with sometimes when closing the game the saves files getting corrupted. This should know longer happen if anyone finds any more issues than please tell me. Thank you.

Save Bug

Hey anyone who started up the game immediately when it launched, there was a bug that I patched where the continue button was not showing up. If you see this do not reset your save by pressing new game please just restart the game I'm so sorry about that

I have tested with multiple people now and figured out what was causing the save issue. I'm definitely sure it should be fixed this time, however of course please let me know if not.

Firstly thank you to everyone!

The game's launch has been mind-blowing! More than 8,000 miners have locked and loaded their guns and explosives, and with 1,400 peak artillery wielders wreaking havoc on those blocks! I'm doing my utmost to give you the best game I can deliver, and I'm deeply grateful to everyone who is blasting away for ores and upgrades!

Addressing Save Issues:

I am aware that some of you have had some auto save issues. Firstly I just want to apologise to anyone who has lost their save, please if this has happened to any of you, let me know so I can try to figure out what is going on. I'm working hard to try to fix it as soon as possible so that nobody will have any issues.

Adding my voice to the broken Save feature. Played for 5 hours tonight, manually saved and left to the Main Menu. Confused when I didn't see any option to Continue, I selected the New Game thinking it might offer the option of multiple save files.

No Dice. Brand new game just wiped away the old one.

Reading other discussions here, apparently if I had either sat at the Main Menu or closed the game for 60 seconds, my original game wouldn't have been overwritten. My version is up to date, including a patch that was supposed to fix the issue.

Cannot recommend this game if such a basic feature is this persnickety.

Kind of dull. The gameplay loop is INCREDIBLY repetitive. At first it's kind of exciting to unlock new weapons, until you realise even those are just re-skins of earlier weapons. You're essentially just replaying the game over and over until you get max out the final weapon and complete the skill tree, earning you the final achievement.
There's literally no point in continuing after completing the skill tree which ruins the final couple of weapons. In my playthrough I didn't even get to use them before I'd maxed them out and finished the game.

TLDR - Game starts off ok, quickly becomes boring and repetitive.

Well, wasn't expecting to have to complain about auto saving within half an hour of starting the game. Sigh

No game save?

I played for several hours this evening. Got to 4th area. Clicked Save Game, though no feedback if it did save. Went to the main menu, and only see New Game. Click that and it starts fresh. Where would my gave save be?!

love when i put a whole day into a game to log on the next day to everything being reset. it says auto saving but mine sure didn't.

Do Not Buy

If you get to enjoy this game it will forget your save. I played for almost 8 hour straight, took a break then i figured why not this game is good so i should give it some more hours. So it turns out my almost 8 hours of gameplay is gone and i have to start a new save.
